The Dolphins made a bold, difficult, potentially brilliant, potentially disastrous move in benching Chad Henne and promoting Chad Pennington as their starting quarterback.

Don't ask if it was the right call because I don't know, and for the record, all the folks, including Dolphins coaches, who say they know this will work are sharing a prayer more than stating a fact.

Maybe the veteran quarterback will add the spark coach Tony Sparano so desperately needs for his uninspired offense. Or maybe Pennington won't be the kindling to any fire because so many other problems douse everything, including hope.

But whatever you think of the move, this much is certain: The Dolphins find themselves back in 2008.

This is a good thing folks. The regime has pulled their heads out now. We know exactly what we need with our first pick.

Would you rather we had gone through the whole season with Henne, and possibly believe that we were going with thim next year? Hell no...

Also, now Henning doesn't have any excuses. If we don't put points on the board, his *** is gone too.

Don't dispare...get it done now...not two more years from now.

If it brings Ws, no one will question the move.
