lets see what they have to say...
Oh wait we all know....... cue the "cue-card" rhetoric
Send in Thewalrus to investigate
Will this stream on any site?
He will say a ton without saying a word.
Its on the NFLN too. Darlington reported it on NFLN.
Who will be talking?
If Joe says he had no idea, he should probably be fired.
If Joe said he knew what was going on, he should be fired
Joe will just say he has nothing to say because the its in the NFL's hands and he takes having a professional locker room seriously. He will also only talk about players that were practicing.
Finally we'll get some decent coverage at todays practice
Paparazzi at todays practice that just started.
It will be mundane rhetoric with no substance. Basically that they won't put up with anyone going against the elite ethics blah blah blah. My guess is Ross, Ireland, Philbin will stand at arms length.
Would have been great to see a errant pass hit Omar in that picture!
Gotta be Ross. Maybe Philbin, but that would require having Dawn Aponte whisper in his ear the whole time. Ireland would just F it up.
They will be annuncing the re-siging of Marlon Moore...
I remember how effective Shula was during similar times in the mid '70s, specifically the Reese/Crowder incident. You could see the emotion on his face, the embarrassment and shock, accompanied by all the correct words, gestures and emphasis. Of course, there were never any doubts about Shula, on or off the field. He could restore pride within 30 seconds.
When I criticize the organization it's always based on the same theme, that the people holding the top roles simply aren't the caliber of the group I grew up with. When that's the case, nothing works. Flawed decisions and instincts. You fail to see what you should see, and react poorly to impromptu situations. Yesterday was a predictable joke. I still don't understand the need for that first statement, as I posted at the time. Any competent crew would understand you were hardly in a position of strength, that it was not only sensible to wait but advantageous. Their error was par for the course.
It needs to be Philbin today. And not a controlled Dawn Aponte version of Philbin. Don't hide behind phrases like ongoing investigation. We get that. There are ways to be candid and impressive outside the most specific information that we realize you can't release.
I have to believe the Dolphins' stance will be that they didn't know the full extent of the problem until now, since they have now decided to suspend Incognito. The evidence they've been presented with now has to be substantially greater than the evidence it can be proven they were aware of previously.
Is this online or on TV?
NFL Live I believe. It says it on the side bar.
nfl network says they will have the press conference live. I'm waiting for it to start any minute
right on the front page of miamidolphins.com .. just saw a live feed there

Lol the feed is on with the guy holding the camera at his waist? I wonder if he realizes its on?
Philbin talkin tough now. Ha. What a joke.
Not a big Philbin fan, but I got to give him props for opening remarks on this. He was upfront and clear, and broke down the series of events. Good move to face this head on.
Philbin saying what he needs to say but a lot more has to be told. Still a huge Philbin fan.
Joe is a badass during this questioning lol "what is that hardknocks? never saw it once, i worked during it"
Joe is brutal.
I don't believe he is handling this very well... Sorry... I think he is done and I think he knows it.
Made a statement of everything we already know, but won't address any question regarding the situation until the NFL finishes their investigation.
Says he never saw any type of bullying or harassment in the Dolphins locker room or facility.
Gotta love opinions.
Interesting that there were no allegations made by Martin in Philbin's discussions with him just after he left the team.
Glad they decided to have this press conference to tell us they're not going to tell us anything during this press conference. I'm done with this entire team.
Says he has a lot of confidence in the locker room and the leadership council and says the council was elected by the players.
I still think Martin is a strange dude. There is more there.
