Yes, F1 isn't Nascar, they have over 25 races in countries all over the world. It's truly unique in that way. There is enormous financial backing in F1. They have deep pockets.

Well need to define make. In Singapore, Monaco they use the normal roads with some modifications of course.

Yea roughly half are custom built tracks, 1/3 are street circuits and then a few are hybrid street/race tracks.

Good question. Looks like the track layout is the same as last years but I don't know if all the structures are in place year round.

No they are not in most city races. They haul a bunch of barriers and stuff in. Fix up the pavement etc.
