Luke Kuechly MLB Boston College 6-3 240
If the Dolphins are indeed taking the BPA, Kuechly is the a no-brainer(You can also put DeCastro in that sentence, but I think the fan base would have a meltdown if we took another OL.) . Drop him in the middle of Dansby and Burton and we have a very good LB corp.

Stephen Hill WR Georgia Tech 6-4 215
The big question is whether Hill can run the route tree? If history is any indication, the answer would be yes. Like Calvin Johnson and DeMaryius Thomas that came before him, Hill will put that question to rest once he sets foot on the NFL stage. Hill has everything needed to play the position.

Ronnell Lewis LB Oklahoma 6-2 244 or Bruce Irvin LB West Virginia 6-3 245
Both these guys are explosive and give all-out effort.

Tyrone Crawford DE Boise St. 6-4 276
He has not put it all together yet, but is not far away. He has major upside and has that blue collar rushing mentality.

Rd4
Devin Wylie WR Fresno St. 5-9 185
Best slot guy in the draft hands down. He has speed and quickness. He was born to play the slot. Is a major threat on STs.

Rd5
Matt McCants OT Alabama -Birmingham 6-7 295
He will start at RT, but has the physical ability to play LT just needs time to develop. Good insurance against injuries to Long.

Rd6
BJ Coleman QB Tennessee-Chattanooga 6-4 220
Has the skill set, developmental guy

Rd7
Winston Guy SS Kentucky 6-1 216
Should excel as ST player. Heat seeking missile. Should fight for playing time down the road.

I would be elated if we wound up with Stephen Hill in the 2nd, but I don't see it happening.

Decastro is a great player, but he is a G. Doesn't matter how dominant he can become, because a G won't influence the outcome of a game like a pass rusher, WR or QB. A solid G just has to hold his ground and not necessarily pancake a defender to be successful. Therefore, won't get as much bang for your buck from drafting him that high.

I would like a pass rusher with 1 of the top 2 picks

I'd be happy with this draft, but I highly doubt Hill will be available to us in the 2nd round.

Dansby has two seasons left at best, he is overpaid and not a great player. MLB is going to be a HUGE need soon.

Not a great player? He is definitely a great player, he is always around the ball. I would choose him over most MLB's in this league. I would be very happy if we did get Luke Kuechly. No it's not a huge need, but I would take a player that is dedicated and studies hard over anyone.

I like the Devon Wylie pick, especially since there was a report that Bess had some ankle issues at the end of last season.

I can understand the rationale for picking Keuchly. He is a can't miss talent and furure pro bowl player. Ireland has had trouble finding that kind of talent later in the draft. In addition, Dansby is the 2nd highest paid players on the team. I could see him being traded next year to clear more salary cap..
