Seconds vanished from the game clock as the Miami Dolphins offense hurried to the line.

Matt Moore spiked the football.
Time for one last play just 5 yards from the end zone. Moore grabbed the snap, fired to his right and hit receiver Davone Bess at the goal line as his he crunched into a defender stopping him cold.
The final whistle blew. The defense celebrated. But was it a touchdown?
"Oh, man I'm fair and honest," Bess said. "I wasn't in. I was close, but I wasn't in. I rushed the route a little bit. Got to be patient."
