My FA wishlist...

These are the guys I like (other than Wallace, Jennings, or Levitre of course)...so, If we really have "money and draft picks", I'dlike to see Ireland put his (Ross's) money where his mouth is!!

Dashon Goldson, cover Safety, SF, 28y-old, 14 int in 6 seasons in SF

Michael Bennet, DE, TBay, 27y.old, nine sacks, 41 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, all last year alone

Sebastian Vollmer, Tackle, NE...let Long walk, he can play left or right, weaken the Pats, all in one move

Brandon Myers, TE, Oak...79 passes for 806 yards and 4 td's last year

Darius Butler, CB, IND...31 tackles and 4int's (2 returned for td's), whilest only starting 4 games, very young still...Mike Jenkins (Dall) or Tracy Porter (NO) would be nice pick ups-also



OPINIONS??
 
If we could get Goldson, Vollmer, and Meyers, id be stoked! There is a good amount of DL prospects in the draft and we can still afford jennings to teach the rookie WR we draft.
 
Seriously, I don't know how good theese guys fit into our scheme, but selecting wisely in FA, and with a total of 10 draft picks (including the compensatory we're owed), we could turn this team into a playoff tema by THIS year, no doubt!
 
Solid list you have there. I like the idea of adding a DE like Bennet...but I think they will go for more of a specialist...maybe even a vet like Abraham or Freeney. Now that Starks is going to be here they will probably keep Odrick at end and then look to bring in someone who can rush the passer on 3rd down.

Also...Lots of CB depth in FA...no huge lockdown guys...but several above average guys which should help lower their cost. Adding a solid starting vet to replace SS is going to be a necessity. As well as getting younger through the draft.
 
Re-sign Clemons, Hartline, Devlin, Fasano, Garner

Sign Bennet brothers, Cox, Jennings, Vollmer

Draft the rest
 
I hope we go for a more rotational/situational DE like Wallace Gilberry (who I love) or Quentin Groves.

I really think we haveto bring in another WR, though not necessarily a top-tier one. I'd love Domenik Hixon and would be ok with Devery Henderson.

I do like your Darius Butler call. So many available corners this year.

Use FA to shore up depth at need positions, and give yourself freedom to draft the best players available.
 
Yeah, Gilberry is another DE I wouldn't mind seeing :up:
 
A guy I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE, but Balt will NEVER let him go now that RLewis is gone, is MLB Danelle Ellerbe, what a beast!!

The Raven that I want that we could have a legitimate shot at is Cary Williams. He did a very nice job filling in for Webb after he went on IR.

Wallace and Bennett and re-sign our own and then wait for the draft. :)
 
Mind you, these are guys I like, not necessarily saying I want to sign every single one. I'm not proposing we sign 6 corners.
