It's obvious to me Stephen Ross is pulling the strings on our team.

I never liked him bringing in the celebrities like Marc Anthony, Fergie and Jay-Lo as part owners.

I hate that the Robbie's lost the team and that Wayne Huizenga sold the team to Ross.

I just wish Stephen Ross would sell the team to an owner that wants to win and let his coaches pick the groceries.

The threads are getting worse. Ross wants to win, don't ever doubt that.

Maybe we should try asking Ross for the opposite of what we actually want since they tend to ignore our pleas. Lets get a Resign Ireland and Long banner in the air.

Putting or pulling all his weight on wanting to get Peyton Manning, then drafting Ryan Tannehill, who to me is just an average QB, is disruptive.

Stephen Ross only cares about revenue and does not understand the game at all.

We lost to a slow Patriots team today who clinched the AFC East and they looked so slow.

Matt Moore is a better QB today.

I just wish he would sell the team to someone who wants to win.

you keep saying that but the fact is that the patriots have been dominating everyone all year and is the #2 seed in the playoffs, you act like they are the browns or something that we lost to

why play a QB how got BEAT out in preseason and has NO future after this season with the team... you have to play THILL so he can develop. Our team would not be better off starting moore. He did decent last year but he had marshall to throw to.

That's a start of sorts! Now take take deep breathes and get a good intake of air into your nostrils. It will help stimulate your thought processes.

You have to have a QB to win today, look at the Broncos, the Colts.

I am not sure I would have drafted Tannehill, he's just an average QB and his TD-INT's ratio is totally unacceptable to me.

Ross placed too much stress in going after Manning and Tannehill.

Let the coaching staff make the calls.

this makes no sense, you say you need a QB to win now (ala broncos and colts) but then in the same post bash them for going after that same QB that the broncos got?

I agree, going after Manning yes, if he's here we make the playoffs today, but drafting Tannehill? Then making your Head Coach start him to create some fabricated excitement is a different story.

I don't think Tannehill is a very good QB, and we should have gone with Matt Moore.

Matt Moore is a lot better than Tannehill "smart" wise and I felt Devlin looked better.

Matt Moore would have got us into the playoffs and I predict in3-4 years Tannehill will be gone.

Tannehill not a very good QB.

Give him some time... he is a rookie, whose biggest knock in college was that he hasnt played the position long enough to be ready right away. Give him some time to develop, not everyone is a superstar for day one. We arent a playoff caliber team and moore or devlin would not have increased our chances of making it. Play the rookie and let him develop because moore has NO FUTURE with this team after the year.

You know...sometimes I do think Miami is more concerned with hosting Super Bowls than actually have their own team play in one.

I have no doubt Ross wants to win. I have concerns/doubts about whether he has the ability to be a winning owner. It just seems like he doesn't really have a plan about what he wants or needs to do and hasn't been able to execute when he does; he can't get the really big moves done. I worry that, if the Dolphins try to make a big move in free agency next year that we either will lose out to a team that seems to have been run with more stability or we'll have to overpay considerably now to get a player we think will be a difference-maker in here.

your assessment is not only a lack of complete knowledge of this team, but an overall incompetence of the game of football.

Well enlighten me, I'm all ears.

Where do we go from here?

We have no chance of making the playoffs and my biggest disappointment was we never improved as a team.

I'd like to see Moore or Devlin finish out the season to see what we might be able to do in the offseason. I'm so tired of losing year-in-year-out.

Explain to me what positives we can take from this season.

Tannehill just seems too tentative to me. Our best game was the Jets game and I felt Matt Moore ran the offense more efficiently.

I'm afraid your expectations were too high if you thought you had a realistic chance of making it into the playoffs at the beginning of this season.

I predicted a 9-7 season this year and was satisfied with Moore and Brandon Marshall last year and going into this season.

Now to touch on the sensitive issue, (giant elephant) during hard knocks, David Garrard & Matt Moore were slated as 1 &2 on the depth chart, if I recall correctly, and Philbin had high remarks on Devlin.

So what's my point? Well I never really saw anything in preseason that I really liked in Tannehill. Heck, we lost every preseason game. My instincts told me we should have gone with Matt Moore.

My biggest shock was trading a great physical wide receiver away for a 3Rd rounder.

Yeah, I knew, but the trade did not help us.

I heard on the NFL pregame shows that last year no one knew of the Broncos wide receivers and look how great they're doing now.

The Broncos will win that division.

We are tied with the Jets and the Bills now....?

    The Jets....?

Every time we had an opportunity to make a statement, we fall short.
