Since were all glued to FinHeaven waiting for the next "breaking news" post, I figured we could waste time by listing our all-time favorite/worse free agent signings. Here are mine. Ironically, they both played the same position.

    Favorite-Keith Jackson

    Worse-Eric Green

Feely was traded for a second round pick. Same goes for Culpepper, IIRC.

Thats a hard one. Love watchin Ricky run. I think Kevin Carter was seriously taken for granted. Just look at the #'s with and w/o. Love Trace. Gotta throw Lucas under the old worst bus with Reggie Howard right there.

If I remember correctly, Armstrong, rickey, feeley, fryar, and culpepper were all acquired via trades.

Lamont Gordon, we gave a 3rd for him. He was a huge disappointment.

I thought Keith Jackson was the first of the new free agent system, not the plan B system (where John Grimsley came from).

    My favorite was Irving Fryar
    Least favorite Chris Carter.
A lot of players sucked but Chris Carter did absolutely nothing but run his mouth about how great he was. He's a piece of crap.

Was Thurman a FA pickup? If so, that has to make top 5 all time brutally filthy ones. Bruised liver with a nice ciante(spelling is wrong) anyone?

Just checked, Irving Fryar was acquired via trade w/the pats for a 2nd rounder. That same year, we also signed Ingram and drafted .OJ McDuffie in the 1st round.

I would not say porter sucked. He came from a 3-4 where he would just bring the house from the out side. People think he sucked because he actually dropped in to coverage the only game i can think of where he sucked is against the browns when Winslow ate him up

yeah, i think keith jackson was the first free agent. i loved how he came in the game immediately and scored a td against the bills. he's probably my favorite too.

also, pre-knee injury jamie nails' pulls on ricky's counters were a thing of beauty. he might be up there too.

worst, i guess would be damien mcintosh. how embarrasing, not only did JT say he wasn't the answer at tackle before he signed with the team, but he fails the physical. not to mention he sucked.

Worst-(well maybe not THE worst but definitly deserves some credit) Stockar McDougal....man I thought he would be a decent player for us. What a bust.

Best-(once again not the best but should be given some credit) Jay Feeley....it's nice not having to look away every time we kick.

I just realized I have another favorite. Since Keith Jackson was my favorite, ill call this one #1a. He is none other than Oronde Gadsden. #86 was awesome and if he didn't have toe problems, he'd have been even better. To think he went from training camp fodder then to our go to guy

I'll say Terrell Buckley was my favorite, he was a complete bust in GB but made a ton of plays for us.

T buck (part I) was part of a trade which sent Keith Jackson to GB. He was good but part II didn't play that much for us.
