Before this season started 'most' experts around the league, mock drafts, etc. had the Miami Dolphins drafting in the number one spot. Meaning, they all thought the Dolphins sucked and were the worst team in the NFL. Well, so much has changed since then and even ESPN, a network that obviously dislike the Dolphins, is starting to give them a little respect, basically because they have to the way they've been playing lately.

    NFL RANKING through week 8

    1. Falcons
    2. Giants
    3. Texans
    4. 49ers
    5. Bears
    6. Ravens
    7. Packers
    8. Patriots
    9. Vikings
    10. Steelers
    11. Seahawks
    12. Broncos
    13. Eagles
    14. Cardinals
    15. Cowboys
    16. Dolphins

Currently, the Miami Dolphins are ranked #16 on ESPN's list. However, I happen to think the Dolphins stock is on the rise, while others stocks are on the decline. I personally think that the Dolphins are better than the following teams, because I feel they are on the decline while the Dolphins are improving. Here are a list of teams I feel the Dolphins will climb past in the coming weeks; Ravens, Patriots, Vikings, Seahawks, Eagles, Cardinals and Cowboys. If I am correct, that would make the 2012 Miami Dolphins a top ten team. I think a game ball is deserving to Coach Philbin and his staff for making the Miami Dolphins a respectable team so fast. I thought it would take a few years but it only took Philbin a few weeks to get respectability back to Miami.

Cowboys and Eagles ranked ahead of us is a flat out joke. More megahype teams. Im shocked they dont have the Redskins ranked around 20 and RG3 ranked in the top 10 somewhere ahead of playoff teams.

Yeah, I don't get the Philly hype either. They're clearly no super team just overrated and overhyped. Dallas? Well, they're stuck with Romo. He's turning into another Sanchez...sucks for the Cowboys. Elite Manning and the Giants are rolling up that division.

cant believe they have denver tha far down given that weak azz division. Philly, Cards, and cowboys severely overated.

I agree on MUCH respect for coach Philbin in making this team respectable in so short a time. He really does seem to know what he's doing.

We should be ranked #13 right behind the Broncos.

It isn't, these are last week's power rankings. Dolphins should move up from #16.

Finally have someone with brains running this team. If I had to hear "Kay" one more time from Sparano I would've shot myself in the face.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that the Patriots are on the decline, like the other teams I mentioned, but I do think they are over-hyped. The Dolphins just spanked the Jets, the same Jets that the Patriots struggled with just one week prior. The Patriots are NOT the same team they have been for the past years and I think the Dolphins can sweep them.
