I was referred to a pretty good article studying the effects of the blitz in QBs:

http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/12/16/which-quarterbacks-handle-the-blitz-best/

While it's a limited study (it doesn't study a lot of subtle factors), it's solid evidence on which QB handles the blitz best, sacks-wise. Obviously this is tied to their offensive line and receivers, since open receivers and good blocking minimize sacks, but nevertheless it's interesting.

Among the interesting tidbits:

- Henne appears to have fared much better against the blitz (8.3 sack percentage) than against regular pressure (22.59%, 11th worst in the league). Names above him include Matt Ryan, Drew Brees and Eli Manning, and of course the worst of the league, Peyton Manning (41.64%), though there's also Jake Delhomme and, oddly, both Shaun Hill and Matthew Stafford.

- Henne's differential is 14th in the league (-14.26%), again below the Mannings, Delhomme, Ryan and Brees. Brady and Sanchez also appear with higher differential than Henne.

- It appears that being better against the blitz is a nicer indicator than the opposite, since on the other end of the spectrum, we find Max Hall leading the way (13.94%), followed by Jason Campbell, Jimmy Clausen, Colt McCoy, Cutler, Garrard, Matt Moore... tough at #10 we find Vick. So... yeah.

- QB Rating, which doesn't consider sacks, tells a different story. Henne's doesn't vary very much (84.1 against the blitz, 77.5 against regular pressure), which places him 15th in the league. QBs above him, though, are a much more varied bag: Stafford, Seneca Wallace, Hall, Kitna, Matt Moore, Eli Manning, Sanchez, Cassel, with Rodgers and Brees just above him.

Also, Henne faced about a league average in blitzes.
