I'm not sure why you're laughing. According to the older posts I just did searches on, as far as I can tell, the OP in that thread wasn't trolling and neither were you.

yeah that thread was a troll thread. We came up with the idea in the VIP chat one day when we were bored. The fact that people still take every damn thing in that thread seriously just makes it worth the post.

Then some of those people I quoted must have been trolling threads all over the place because the opinions they expressed in that thread were consistent elsewhere.
