Good news for the Dolphins
Works for me.
Well we know who our #2 is.
Good to know
This signing is obviously going to have mixed feelings from everyone including Dolfans. But as I have been saying since he was released and even before he was rumored to be going to Miami that this can't hurt. He is not a disruptive and destructive WR like Marshall, Holmes or Burress more of a mouth like Channing Crowder. Having him is going to be fun, even if he doesn't make the final roster.
I've always wanted this guy on my team. He doesn't really get in trouble off the field, he is just a prankster on it. Hopefully he can pick up the playbook fairly quickly and make a solid impact. Love the signing.
Chad is a workout warrior. I expect him to make an impact IF he takes the time to master the playbook.
Number 85 isn't taken as well .....so no need to spend part of his Vet minimum to buy his number. This should make Hard Knocks very interesting! Go Phins!
i hope he has something left
Not really sure that's true. It's a new offense for everyone

Welcome home, Chad!
I certainly hope I'm pleasantly surprised. However I can't help thinking that if he couldn't succeed with one of the QB GOATs throwing to you and the league's best slot receiver, and two studly TEs diverting attention away, then believing he'll be more effective lining up in tandem with our own receivers with any one of our QBs under center IMO is an exercise in wishful thinking.
Could this be like the Pennington move the Meatball n Tuna made to propel a young team into the playoffs for the first time in years?......I think not. This move screams of desperation. We have **** at WR, except Bess. Hopefully, he at least changes his name back to Johnson and looks to kill the Patsies for revenge, having 2 great games this year against his old team.
Works for me. Always wanted this dude to play in a Fins uni.
I like him. Gained my respect when he sat on that bull! Hope he comes in and learns the o and can contribute!

I have the funny feeling that we are going to see Chad Johnson!!!!!!
I could be completely wrong but like I have been saying, If Chad head is on right....HE HAS PLENTY TO PROVE and he still has a ton of juice left in the tank.....
Chad has already changed his twitter as well....including his sig. "Chad Ochocinco @ochocinco Miami Dolphins WR. MusclePharm Athlete"
I don’t have a problem with the signing as long as his contract is structured in a way that we can easily cut him if he doesn’t play well or some young WR impresses.
I agree to this point. The recent concern by our coaching staff regarding the amount of drops in my mind clearly plays a factor in this signing! At the very least, it will serve to scare some of the receivers on the roster to focus more on their jobs.
Certainly couldn't hurt, he has to earn the roster spot, its not like it will be given to him based on his name. If we cut him though, I believe the writing is on the wall for old 85's career......
Welcome to Miami, Chad! Let's see what you got left baby!
I am happy with the signing, but I am worried that if he had trouble with the NE playbook, why wouldn't he here? It is a lot of formations. Did they run something similar in Cinn? I also find it funny he was cussing out Vontae Davis last Summer or maybe the summer before because noone would work out with him on his routes! hehe
Our new DC knows him, so he must have put in a good word.
I agree about the drops so far in OTAs. I think that may have helped this signing.
I think he makes the team. He should be hungry after basically humiliating himself last year as a bench warmer.
This cracks me up! Warning, has a "few" choice words and uses the N word. Mods, I remember seeing this posted on here, I hope it doesn't violate the user agreement...if so I apologize!
#Acorn. Way to go Ireland. He must have really showed out during his work out. Ireland normally wait a couple of days. We now have a legit #1, who just last year Bellichick thought enough of to give up draft picks for..
I love me some Ochocinco...glad he signed
#85 is currently worn by rookie WR Rishard Marshall
that being said I'm sure Ocho will open up the check book and the rook will oblige
like he said it isn't taken. If it were B.J "drops" Cunningham I would tell Chad just wait a few weeks that # will be available very shortly.
Hartline being out might have had something to do with it. Bess and Naanee are really our only veteran recievers. Glad we signed him .
He can definitely make Hard Knocks more entertaining.
Guess we don't have to worry about 85 telling us the patriots playbook.
kiss the baby!
Hard Knocks just got a lot more interesting.
Hells yea !!!!
They will have to cut someone to make room for Chad. I assume it will be one of the bottom WRs so Matthews can get that number.
