I hope Miami shows up for the bowl game. Very excited about next year and exacting brutal revenge upon Clemson.

Please tell me we're recruiting punters.... A Feagles punt is equivalent to a turnover in terms of field position. I don't care who his father is. He's the worst punter I've ever watched at any level of football -- high school and up.

This is why I'm not upset at all about Walton going pro. Lingard is going to be the next great Miami tailback. Hopefully we enjoy three years of him because he's a top 10 pick if developed properly. Hopefully the line is much improved next year.

He reminds me of Clinton Portis.

Mark Richt added a major piece to Miamis Storm 18 recruiting class this afternoon as four-star QB Jarren Williams from Central Gwinnett High School announced his commitment to the Hurricanes.

The former Kentucky commit has been Richts primary focus at quarterback since the Canes and Art Sitkowski parted ways. Williams rose up the rankings after an incredible senior season. Rivals lists him as their #106 player in the County overall. The 6-3, 210-pound signal caller threw for over 3,000 yards, 28 TDs, and 4 INT this season, and over 500 yards and 10 TDs rushing.

Maybe a crazy thought but with the way Rosier has been playing I'd be tempted to start Perry in our bowl game and burn his red shirt if he gives us a better chance to win. He'd still have 2 maybe 3 years as a starter and then this guy takes over.

I watched Perrys HS film. Perry has mad skills, i don't think you burn his red shirt. Too late in the game for that. Maybe Jarren will be good too but you can red shirt Jarren next year while Perry starts with Rosier in a backup role

Jarren vs. Perry will be war. They will make each other so much better. Both super talented. We will win a National Championship in the next four years.

Weldon is going to be our third best QB.... He's got more talent than Kaaya, Morris, Rosier, etc.

The talk is Michael Jack will probably go pro. A spot may be open for one of the talented recruits already committed ... or Tyson Campbell .... or Pat Surtain jr

As fan of the team I want him to return, but as a fan of him I would say go pro.

I agree 100%. I am interested to see what Richt does here. I think his father (as a pro punter) needs to step in and tell his son that he may want to try something else.

This is huge for our defense next season and incredibly surprising news. With a solid combine he could be a first round pick right now. Guess he wants a shot at the following year without Fitzpatrick and James. Good motivation. Become the best safety in the nation.

Now let's get a 2018 commitment from Norton and I'm happy.

Poor decision on his part. He's probably a third or fourth round pick this year, but improved greatly and hasn't reached his ceiling yet.... Could be a first rounder in 2018.

No worries. More opportunities for Storm 18. Lots of great CB talent with or without Surtain Jr. If we land Campbell he will play early and often as a true fresh.

Where does that leave Rosier next year? Going pro?

Did you guys see the Wiki page? Someone must have edited who does not like Rosier. :laugh

We all did. It was good Rosier ... bad Rosier ... good Rosier for the first 10 games then it was only bad Rosier.
Without the big plays he just looks average at best. Granted he made lots of big plays passing and running the ball but I guess his luck ran out.
There we plays to be made both at Pitts and vs Clemson downfield . Guys were open.

Honestly he needs to play the game of his life in the OB to keep that job going into next year and even then there will be a competition that I believe he'll lose.

I think if he loses the starting job he will just take his degree and leave the team.

Maybe. i don't know he seems like a team first guy so maybe he stays to help the young guys along. Maybe pitch relief if our starter gets in trouble or injured.

Here's an interview with our new QB from Peter Ariz

    https://soundcloud.com/user-527391228/vol-94-jarren-williams-joins-the-show

Skip to the 23 min mark if you just want to hear this interview. The first part is about our recruiting in general.

I really like this kid and the fact he's enrolling early and coming in at 205 lb's really helps plus the fact he's already played 7 on 7 with Mark Pope , Hightower , Brevin Jordan and Lingard in our paradise camp.

I heard Miami might get Asante Samuel Jr away from FSU. That'd be tremendous

He's really good but 5'9" and more a slot guy like Bandy. Still would love to have him.
Richt says he has a silent recruit. Could be him , Campbell or Surtain

Heritage where the last 2 play won the state championship today. Here's Nesta Silvera a committed DT

Big boy likes those turnover chains and TD belts

Maybe they all sign together :) please , please , please

Remember coach Rump was their HC 2 years ago.

Miami five-star running back commit Lorenzo Lingard is the Gatorade Florida Player of the Year .

The Orange City University standout ran for 1,701 yards and 26 touchdowns on 207 carries this past season leading the Titans to a 5-4 record.
