Yes, it's that dreaded time of year again. The time in between mini camp and training camp. I don't know about you guys, but this time of year seems to drag on even longer than between the regular season/post season and free agency for me. There is almost no new news, and for the teams unlucky enough to have anything new to report on, it is usually a season ending injury.

Lookin' at you Pitta
(Moment of silence for Pitta's and Pouncey's hips)

But I digress. Lets spice up FH with a little poll.

Which away game are you planning to go to this season? I figured this would be a good way to meet up and tailgate with some other phin fans who are a little farther from home. Nothin better than being able to have some fans to go wild with when Ajayi trucks over a helpless DB.

I, unfortunately, reside in Maryland and have never seen Miami play at home. In fact I've only ever been to 4 games, all of which were MetLife takeover games. ( 4-0 in games I've attended actually, hope that continues) However, this year, I will not be able to make it to New York. So I figured the best option would be the Thursday night game against Baltimore. Anyone else here going to the Baltimore game? If not which one do you hope to go to.

I know I plan on making a trip to a home game this year, right now I've pegged the Patriots game as the one I want to go too. I went to the season opener in 2014 as part of my honeymoon before going to the Bahamas the day after. That was a hell of a day.

I too have a perfect 6-0 record at games which I've attended. I've been fortunate to be as some very memorable one's too. Living between Philly and NY my first few games were at the Meadowland's with my first game being the fake spike game. First game I attended in Miami was the 2002 "bye bye Ricky, bye bye streak" game at home against the Jets. I went to that game by myself even though I was in Fort Lauderdale on vacation with my sister, she didn't want to go with me. Needless to say, I've never felt less alone being in a stadium packed with Dolphins fans (and way too many Jets fans).

Second home game I attended was against Buffalo, I think it was 2005, the game we were down 21-0 in the first quarter. I had the privilege of sitting next to JP Losman's parents during that game and it wasn't looking good. 15 catches from Chris Chambers later and that 4th down TD reception with 15 seconds to go and I was on cloud nine leaving that stadium.

2014 season opener against New England was certainly my favorite moment live. The anticipation of the season, beating the Patriots and coming a week after I got married, it was just special. Oh ya, my wife joining me was great too. Later on in the same season I went to the MNF at Metlife against the Jets and we had tickets in a suite. Shitty game, it rained, it was a defensive battle but we prevailed. While I certainly dislike the Jets, sitting in that suite was.....sweet. Especially given that they have glass partitions so you can see into other suites, at least partially. Given that I went with my cousin who is also a Dolphins fan (because of me) and our wives, all 4 of us decked out in Dolphins gear we certainly got a lot of evil glances. The maitre d' even made a point to tell us he didn't want any problems and that he worked directly for the owner of the Jets, Woody Johnson. I wanted to tell him Stephen Ross could buy this building and turn into a vacant lot if he wanted but I just smiled. I should've pointed to Manhattan and let him know Mr.Ross owns that.

I really wanted to go to the Ravens game last year after winning 6 in a row but I didn't feel good about it. I think I made a wise decision. Although if given the chance this year I will go to that game as I have a lot of family in Baltimore and I'd love to visit them more often. Thankfully they are Redskins fans.

I'm going to hit up the Philly preseason game. We were trying to find a good city to do a small vacation in, so naturally i checked the dolphins schedule :) Best option in that timeframe was Philly. Plus it's the 3rd PS game and the thursday night primetime game.

"So honey, what do you think about vacationing in Philadelphia? Lots of museums and whatnot to enjoy there....."

I am obviously hoping to go to the Jets vs Dolphins game again. Would love to go to the Ravens game this year, have a feeling this year will be different in Baltimore.

It certainly would feel good to put a beat down on the ravens, hopefully start some media ruckus about joe flacco's future in the process....enjoy that game!

I'm going to that game too.

Philly's a cool town, I would certainly recommend going to the Franklin institute. It's not a vacation destination in the true sense but you can always travel to Atlantic City for a day or two and hit the Casino's or beaches in South Jersey. If you like culture and food, Philly is a great place to spend 2-3 days. You'd also surely want to visit the Reading Terminal Market for some great food.

My football juices are flowing today. I've been a little stagnant lately as I've had a lot going on in May and June to keep me occupied since the draft. I'm starting to get into that football mode. I was walking around the offense today letting everyone know our offense is going to be spectacular this year. Of course the typical responses I've been getting are that I say that every year.

Not sure if I can come down this year. If I did I'd aim for the opener like always. If not, I may be able to swing down later in the year. I'll still watch them all though no matter what.

I'll be at the Chargers game in LA. It'll be the fourth time seeing the Dolphins play the Chargers.

1986 - SD 50, Mia 28. Fouts and Marino duel. Miami defense was atrocious.

1994 - SD 22, Mia 21. AFC Divisional Playoffs. 'Nuff said! A long drive back up to Ventura after this heartbreaker.

1995 - Mia 24, SD 14. Sun night game. Didn't make up for the playoff loss but still a good win.

Have also seen them in '86 beat the Rams in Anaheim in an OT thriller, 37-31. Marino threw 5 TDs that game. Duper caught 3 TDs and had 150 yds.

Flew to Seattle in '92 and we won 19-17. Marino hit Freddie Banks for the game winner after getting knocked out. Ugly win in the ugly Kingdome.

One of these years I'll make it down to Miami!

Awesome thanks for those tips, will probably heed that advice on the market and Franklin inst....we are in fact spending 3 days there so sounds like we picked a good duration.

I assume you meant around the office, guess every office has one because i'm the same here...i mean shoot, the offense SHOULD be really good this year, too many things lining up just right for it not to this season.

LOL definitely meant office but offense was on the brain.

The Reading Terminal Market is a collection of over a 100 food vendor's from all over the world. Not a sit down fancy restaurant place. You can find plenty of fancy restaurants in the city if your looking for that. Franklin Institute is just awesome. I haven't been there in a long time so I'd venture to guess it's only gotten better as technology and science have advanced. I've never been to the art museum simply because its never been my thing but I hope to at some point in my life. The Philadelphia Zoo is also worth the trip but only if you've never been to a large Zoo. If you have, then it's just another Zoo.

I've never been to a game at the "Linc" so I am looking forward to that preseason game, especially given that it's the 3rd preseason game.

Hell if you're 6-0 I implore you to go to that Pats game lol nothing like having one up on them!

I felt the same way about the Ravens game last year and time will only tell how I'll feel later, but there's only two kinds of prime time games I haven't been to. Thursday night and Sunday night. Been to a 1,4 and 830 Sunday game plus a Monday and Saturday night game so being able to check one more off the list was reason enough for me. Hope you make it to your games!

Yup, feels like it's long due, where we start actually competing with them.

You just got me pretty interested also in that preseason game. Normally I don't really go to preseason games (I guess more then anything because those games are normally not close), but last year my company gave me tickets to the Giants game, and me and my cousin had a great time. I think I will ask him, if he also wants to go to the Eagles preseason game, considering he is closer to them then he was the Meadowlands.

3 possible games now that I might go to. :happy

I heard the Charger games will be expensive this year as there are only 30,000 seats.

Lincoln Financial Takeover.

Doesn't role off the tongue like Metlife Takeover.

Broad Street Takeover sounds better. Regardless, I'll be there and I have off on Friday's so a Thursday game is perfect for me. I am conflicted as to whether or not I should take my son. He will be 7 months old so he won't remember any of it but I am eager to take him to a game. I've envisioned Jarvis autographing his #14 onesy.

This will be most live Dolphin games I have ever seen in a season topping last season when I got to see @Pats and 49ers. I am hitting the @jets as I live in NY, and tickets are going to be cheap, as NY's season is already over. My sister just moved to Charlotte, so I waited till the schedule came out to book my flight to visit, so I am going to my first Monday night game. I am also taking my yearly pilgrimage to South Beach for the Bills game to end the season. I have free @Pats tickets, as my nephew has season tickets, but I am not sure I want to go as it sucks to leave there after a loss, I will wait to see how are season is going.
