Hey biggunndunn, I have tried to put up a pic...like your Clinton one there....to no avail. I have asked 39, but after trying what he suggested, it still doesn't work. Could you talk me through the process...idiot style (it is a pic from an e-mail attatchment)

I'm not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to computers.

Sorry to clutter up this forum with silly questions. I just get very frustrated with computers, as I am one of these people who just seems to be completely stupid when it comes to these things. Just spending a little time trying to do a simple task like this tends to lead to a trip to the gym for 20 mins stress relief on the heavy bag.

try this:

go to this page: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/football/pro/dolphins/

scroll down to Anna's picture on right under photo gallery

right-mouse click on picture and select Properties

copy the whole URL where it says Address (URL)

click above on the button that says IMG and paste in URL

as such it will look like |IMG|http://www.sun-sentinel.com/media/thumbnails/photogallery/2003-02/6780284.jpg|/IMG|
only with brackets

and display like

you can include the IMG stuff in your sig.

otherwise http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/member.php?s=&action=editavatar you can upload an image that you have detached to your local computer from an email and use it as your avatar as long as is it smaller than 150 px by 150 px
