Probably too soon, but what the hell else is a Dolphins fan supposed to do when it's playoffs time? So which games will we win/ Lose next year? Even if we go and sign (fill in the name of whoever)

Here's our games (dates TBA) : Miami will host the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and San Diego Chargers.

They will travel to Buffalo, New England, New York, the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts

It's really about the QB's that are on the other team. Considering who they are playing I would Guess 6-10 or 7-9 tops.

we have 20+ of our own free agents that need to be signed or replaced
we haven't gone through the draft
we haven't even smelled free agents not belonging to us

At first perusal I also had them at 6-10, but since you insist that it can't be 6-10, I'll give the Jets a home win and call them 5-11.

How many playoff teams did we play this year? We played more playoff teams this year as that schedule stands..we got waxed 3 times but other wise were in all of the games..we have 5 picks in 3 rounds and cap space. Besides us and the pats our the division is in turmoil,so we should win about 9-10 games which was possible this year

We only have cap space because a bunch of contracts are going to run out. It isn't like we just get to sign a bunch of new guys and keep everyone we have. That cap space will disappear quickly...

It depends on how some of the contracts are structured too, but you are right.

    6-10

We had a cream puff schedule this year and were only 7-9. Ireland will not help us...we will remain a stagnant middle-of-the-road team...so figure anywhere from 5-11 to 8-8...8-8 would be a stretch...

That is a brutal schedule even if we were a play off quality team. Of course injuries, player and coaching changes will have some affect on those teams.
We have to focus on beating...and sweeping the AFC east. Those 6 games are the key. If we go 5-5 in the others..we are in at 11-5
The Bills and Jets are in disarray, we should have a leg up on them.
The patriots...we need to improve our WR's to increase scoring, get more creative on offense, and add another DE that can complement Wake to put Brady on his back.
That is the road map to the play offs.

Is it too soon to predict our record for 2013? Does a bear **** in the woods?

Way to soon to be making season predictions for 2013. This team is going to look much different in September then it did yesterday. I expect a playoff team in 2013, no excuses for why that can't happen.

Season win over/under will probably be 8, or in that range, a half game either way. That would be my early estimate.

We'll get some credit for a second year coach and quarterback.

Scheduling really doesn't factor into making those numbers. Not as much as you would believe. Too much uncertainty. Things tend to balance out, finding a small range within either side of .500. That's why some spots have put up those numbers before the schedule comes out, although you don't see that anymore. It was common during the '90s, when sportsbook managers were aggressive and competing for business.

The number is more of an assessment of overall caliber of the team.

Too bad they don't have any heart as Sundays drubbing showed. 6-10 Wish we would have got Manning. Prognostagators had us in the playoffs with Manning and 7.5 wins without. We'll have to see what they say about 2013.
