The way i see it, the season could progress in one of two ways:
Possibility one is, we somehow put together a great game, and san diego overlooks us and we pull the upset next week. At that point, we'd be 1-3, with the Jets up after the bye. We usually play the Jets tough, so maybe, off a win against the Chargers, we upset the Jets too. At that point we're 2-3 with Denver up next. Danver is definitely very beatable, so maybe we win again and we're 3-3 and we have a season.
The second possibility (and the more likely scenario) we get blown out by the Chargers, or even just lose a close game. At that point we're 0-4, finished, and this team will pack it it. At that point, its just going to be a question of whether we can lose enough games to get Luck next year.
