Just saw a clip of Surtain talking on NFL Network..

    He said:
-This is not the Joey Harrington of old
-His receivers arent helping him out, dropping alot of passes
-He is fitting some balls in tight places
    -He can move around
-Joey is playing some good ball

Every analyst i've seen on TV says Joey is doing great. It is just a strange phenomena of this board that everyone hates him  I predict this will become a bash Joey Harrington thread before all is said and done.

Joey is playing better then Culpepper did. You're right though. The "Culpepper Obsession Fan Club" will destroy the thread. :shakeno:

Doesn't matter who will the QB, DC, JH, CL, somebody will bash him. Except if Marino was still playing, man do I ever miss those days. Even on a bad day it was fun to watch him.

Cmon fellas JH is not playing great by any means. He is playing well enough for us not too lose. If he played great we would have dropped 40+ on Chicago. He is an average qb and we need a good qb to take the next step. But I will be as happy as anyone if the light comes on for him and he becomes that guy. I just want someone to become that guy and soon.

The thread has nothing to do with Joey being "that guy". It has to do with he is playing well now. Ever hear of giving credit where credit is due?

I found that amusing. But why would he put his balls there?

Joey IS playing well, and will continue to play well the rest of the season, and next season, and the next 8-9 seasons when he wins at least 1 MVP and 2 SBs. Take that to the bank.

Not so much a prediction as it is wishful thinking.

I know. I know. But I've been known to predict these kinds of things before.

Who are the receivers that are not helping Joey out? Usual suspects?

Well, considering the last QB's he saw in Miami were Jay Fiedler and AJ Feeley, not sure if that's a compliment. But still, he's right. Joey's playing decently, more so than ineffective Culpepper, and his WR's are making a lot of drops.

Joey is OK but he is not playing that great. He is way too inconsistent. He is throwing the ball very high in key situations. I like Joey as a back up period. We have to give credit where credit is due. Our last two wins are because of the defence and Ronnie Brown.

Joey had his best game today. We get this type of performance from the guy every week, our QB problems are over. Is he Peyton, no. But today's performance has him playing around mid range of starters and that's good enough

Joey IS playing somewhat up to what he can do! Maybe, just maybe, the team and the fans will get behind him and appreciate him for what he is doing and has done? How would any of you like to put up with the situation/crap that he had at Detroit? My hats off to anyone that can overcome all of that. If we give him support he may just be the answer everyone is looking for? He will never be another Marino, but who the heck would be. For just a few games and being asked he is omproving every week...More power to Joey!!!!

Joey is playing O.K., which is a huge improvement over CP who was playing absolutely horrible. It would be nice if JH could continue to improve. I think he could be a very good QB if he could be a little more patient with his throws.

    GO PHINS~!
