Pathetic stat

Ricky has more rushing yards than our top 3 receivers (CC, RM, JM) have combined!! 1284-1226. Not to mention Ricky's 4th in receving yardage at 301. Only 22 yds behind McKnight.


The good news is we can run (4th) and stop the run (5th) which are the two most important factors. But our passing must improve or we're screwed. With Jay and Cris though, it should improve.


I think the thing that frustrates us fans the most is we never have to things that match. We got kool-aid, no sugar. We got peanut butter, no jelly. Ham, no burger!

Last year, it was no run. This year, no pass. With Marino, good offense, bad defense. Now, it's good defense, mediocre offense (although improving)


Daaaaaaam, can we just put it all together ONE friggin time. Is that to much to ask?

in 1972, Morris and Csonka ran for 2117 yards combined; yet they had only 2235 passing yards total :eek:

That stat would only suck, if Ricky was average a pre-Ricky YPC, but since he is getting 4.6 YPC, he can be 100% of the O as long as we keep the chains moving. That stat is not that pathetic as much as it is an indication of what a conservative game plan we have and needed with Lucas
