You know something weird is going on in Columbus. Haskins really isn’t perfect for Urban’s offense. He’s not the athlete some think he is. Martel , who will start next year is perfect for Urban’s offense. But what’s really odd is their prize recruit , QB Jack Miller, 2020 is strictly a pro style passer. But then they just got another QB commit, 2020, who is the # 8 dual threat QB.

Its amazing how many QB prospects he gets to commit knowing his track record.

That's the thing that makes this class so rough. The best talents should all return to school.

Absolutely. Experience is the best teacher, and nothing benefits quarterbacks more than game experience. It's actually absurd that we sit here evaluating RS Sophomores nowdays in their first seasons starting as NFL quarterbacks. But that's the landscape of college football and the NFL draft now. These guys are nowhere near what they'll be in 3 to 5 years.

The problem is actually what you just said though - they're the most talented prospects. They just lack experience that is so critical to development, but all these kids are pushed to strike while the iron is hot. Even when they're not ready.
