Phillip Wheeler is underrated

I don't think you guys understand how good Wheeler is.

He had a better year than Willis. Set the tone for the defense.

He lacks instinct and is over aggressive to try an over compensate...putting himself in bad situations. Other teams know this.

Wheeler reminds me of Crowder... I know he got a bad rep here but he s still the best LB we ve had in the last decade...

If he does that, his status will RISE to legendary around here.

Did Wheeler look good?

He had a excellent blitz, caused pressure almost a sack!

He's only good for blitzing downs, he isn't a full-time LB IMO. Hoping McCain or Jenkins can put him on the bench.

That was about the most preposterous combination of drivel I have ever read

I know I'm gonna get killed for this, but I really believe Phillip Wheeler is underrated and a lot of fans take him for granted.

Bends at hips and has good hip fluidity

Underrated instincts

Great work ethic

Tight space burst

Has potential to make big plays with very good speed

Plays faster than given credit for

good at rushing the QB, but wasn't utilized correctly

Tackling is not as bad as some make out, he just has some technique issues which are teachable

Good in pass coverage

Now these are all my opinions, but I know other people out there share the same feelings and are afraid of the backlash.

Have at it, but if you agree add some more traits you feel Phillip Wheeler has that makes him underrated.

Welcome to finheaven Phillip! I hope you ball out this season.
