How many players reported to training camp, on July 5th, 1966?
Rofl, nice try sir!
Are you basing this off of expansion draft+draft+red shirt draft? If so then the number would be 32 from the expansion draft, 20 from the draft, and 11 from the red shirt draft. Totaling 63.
The total number, and it's not 63 =)
Then I have NO CLUE!!!
one of our posters was at that first practice, he said it was in St. Pete I think. man, tough one... obscure.
At the July 5th training camp, in 1966, 83 players reported.
Edit: Correct, go ahead
Was an absolute guess :
OK, let someone else can ask the next question?
heres an easy one. Name all the Qb's picked before Dan Marino by the Dolphins. You must give pick number and team.
Edit: In the 83 draft not former picks by the dolphins
1 Baltimore Colts John Elway QB Stanford
7 Kansas City Chiefs Todd Blackledge QB Penn State
14 Buffalo Bills6 Jim Kelly QB Miami
15 New England Patriots Tony Eason QB Illinois
24 New York Jets Ken O'Brien QB Cal-Davis
This is not really a question but name the Killer B's.
Did I miss anyone?
Thats sounds right to me.
How did the Dolphins come to be known as "the Dolphins"?
Throught a fan contest in 65. Suggested by 622 people out of 19843.
Got it! Take it away Touborg!
What was the name of the mayor that invited the Dolphins to play in south florida, and agreed to give them The Orange Bowl?.
Lucky Guess....
Mayor Robert King High met with Joseph Robbie on May 6th.
Hehe, no that's actually correct.
Yep! go ahead.
I know, I was kidding.
Who holds the record for most passing yards in a game AGAINST the phins.
Which QB threw the most INT's in a game against the Phins and how many INT's/Pass Attempts.
True- They DID NOT have home field advantage throughout the playoffs due to back then it was on a rotation schedule and also they were the underdogs coming into SB7!!!!
question:who was the dolphins first african american qb?
Ray Lucas came before Duante.
That's right. but in all fairness i like to forget about him.
Miami had Marlin Briscoe in 1972. i know at one time he was a QB. does that count.
What was the name of the person who actually won the contest?
