*Say what you want about running back. Yes the shelf life is shorter, but Jamaal Charles, LaSean McCoy, Marshawn Lynch, Frank Gore, Eddie Lacy, and Gio Bernard were all on playoff teams.

So what do I take from that

QB- Tannehill can develop into a QB that is a regular in the playoffs
#1 WR- Mike Wallace is not a #1.. this is a big need for the team going down the line
#1 Pass Rusher- Wake is definitely an elite #1 pass rusher, but how much longer can he do it for?
LT- Pro-Bowl Left Tackle? Check.
#1 CB- True #1 corner who can handle #1 receivers? Check.
RB- Moreno isn't a factor back, but he is good enough to sign a 2-3 year extension if he plays well without Peyton.
#2 Pass Rusher- when can Jordan step up and become a legit #2 rusher?
WLB- Philip Wheeler? Lol.. big need.. Shazier fits like a glove here but what will the O-Line look like?
TE- Clay has a ton of potential.. would like to see him improve as a blocker
LG- Zack Martin? Or a Mike Pouncey position switch?
DT- Pro Bowl 3 technique? Check.
RT- Question mark here.. I guess Fox could be a bridge starter if they neglect this position the draft..
FS- not a lot of good ones in the league.. I think Delmas can be a long term starter if he can stay healthy
MLB- Ellerbe not the answer here..
#2 WR- Hartline is an average #2
RG- Shelley Smith may end up being a long term starter here, but will have to prove it.
SS- Reshad Jones was a pro bowl snub in 2012 but took a step back after he got a big contract..
#2 CB- If Finnegan is healthy he can be an upgrade over Patterson here
NT- big step back with Mitchell from Soliai, but a truly overvalued position. Starks and Odrick will be the tackles on nickel
C- Pouncey is a top 5 center, but wouldn't he be better utilized at guard?
SLB- Misi is a very good 2 down thumper at SAM
#3 WR- Brandon Gibson is a more than capable #3 receiver in the slot

If they can get 2 long term starters at LG, RT, MLB, or WLB in the draft, I think Miami is a playoff team. No #1 receiver really hurts Tannehill, but the cost to get Watkins or Evans will be too much and we are paying Wallace like one. I expect them to get out of that contract after this season

Looks Like RT, LB, and WR and TE are biggest needs.

1st round Martin, Mosely/shazier, Beckham or Ebron. We will resolve one of the needs in the 1st round for sure.
