Possible smoke screen?

Any possibility here guys that Dan being hired was just a smoke screen with no intention to even keep him. Just so maybe it would put them in a more "surprise" type of situation to nab a better GM after the superbowl....like say the Pats GM or maybe Philly's.....I dunno, just thinking out loud, trying to make sense of it all.................

i dont think so....probably it was just Dan realzing he couldnt handle the job after he took it. I'm REALLY hoping we get ahold of NE's guy somehow...Pioli? That'd rule!

I may be mistaken but I think Belichick and Reid are the GMs of their respective teams, so count that out..

I too am trying to make sense of this whole situation. He was here today, gone tommorrow.
