You can say what you want, this team was not expected to be here and proved alot of people wrong.

I enjoyed being able to watch my team become 1 of only 4 teams left, bright future for the Jets.

In all seriousness, I'd like to congratulate the Jets on their AFC Championship.....tshirts that they were selling a bit too early. Congratualtions on your free tshirts, guys.

Playoffs mean nothing to me anymore. I've seen the Dolphins get to the playoffs so many times and stink it up when they get there that I don't even care anymore. Gotta win the big one so I can go ahead and die. But I understand the excitement of the playoffs by the Jet fans. This is a rare feat for the Jets so it's fresh and new. Enjoy it.

In fairness, that's exactly what you guys were saying to us last year. It's true, but there's also the accomplishment of it that can't be taken away.

Again, all 4 teams had the gear up... but why let facts get in the way.

It was a good year. If nothing else, it was pretty fun watching you Fin fans squirm over the last month.

    "ALOT" isn't a word.

    It never has been.

    It never will be.

It's a ..... lot. Learn to separate them.

Funny, I just used "has been" and "never will be" in a Jets thread. How fitting!

Those T-shirts will go to a good cause at least! [I think they do that every year? Hey, the Patriots are 19-0 in Somalia...]

Jets and Dolphins should be fighting it out again. I don't think the Patriots are going anywhere though. It's possible all three could make the 2010 playoffs.

The Colts proved in the 2nd half that at best your Jest were in actuality an 8-8 team and that maybe next time, Bloomberg should rename Manhattan "Revis Peninsula"

Don't worry. I'm sure plenty of people in Haiti would love to have those "Jets 2009-10 AFC Champs" shirts.

As well you should be. Though it did take a lot of luck to get that far, and having to draft about 16 spots worse and not being able to sign FA's is going to suck being in a division with 3 teams who are all fairly close.

Playoff wins are nice, but unless you win the big one, who really cares? You guys can have the bragging rights for the offseason, I'll take my 12th overall pick and ability to sign FA's.

LOL, the draft is loaded with talent regardless of where you're drafting. I'll take another 3 weeks of watching my team play over draft position any day. And the uncapped year actually helps the Jets hold on to RFAs who would have otherwise been UFAs. Ditto all the other teams in the league, thus leaving the UFA pool pretty dry. It goes both ways.

Thus meaning you will have that same team on the field next year with no big improvements.

All I read last year from Jets fans was "Oh you guys didnt win the big one, playoffs meant nothing" Right back at ya :tongue2:

Congrats on a nice run but Sanchez still has a long way to go. Once the Colts put the game in his hands, it was over.

Congrats to the Jets for their magical run this season. They made it all the way to the AFC Championship with a team, lets be honest, probably shouldn't have even been in the playoffs. I think the Colts proved today that if they didn't rest their starters in that Week 16 game, they would have beat the Jets. If that would have happened, the Jets never make the playoffs.

The Jets backed into the playoffs, and got exposed today.

True enough, but they proved they should be there by beating two divisional champs when it mattered. That's bottom line. The Colts are a great team, and, head to head are better than the Jets, but the Jets made it a game until very late.

We'd be beating our chests and crowing from the rooftops if it was us. I sure know I'd rather have been watching the Dolphins this week. **** the draft. I want to win.

Great playoff run by the Jets. That was admirable intensity. Sanchez has so many terrific qualities -- play faking, pump fakes, athletic arrogance, maneuverability, and a basic delivery.

As long as we're bragging about draft position, what are the odds that a 57th pick in one draft turns out to be superior to the same position 5th pick in the following draft? Big hint: Horrible. I point that out only for an injection of reality. Some of the posts here the past few weeks have comically slanted, in terms of Miami better than the Jets and Henne over Sanchez.

The only thing I don't like about the Jets is the gimmick defense. The 3-4 lends itself to that, scrambling around trying to mask intentions, every player in the front seven trying to be half of this and three quarters of that. It was so refreshing to watch the Colts line up in a recognizable 4-3 and simply attack.

I find it more than mildly amusing that many of the same posters who are denouncing the Jets are ones championing the 3-4 defense. I just watched the Colts defeat the two best 3-4 defenses in the league, one by 17 points and the other by 13. That's the bottom line, certainly more valid than scrambling to assert the Jets had no business in the playoffs. After all, it's our guy who coined, "You are what you are."

I made it my mission to get one of those World Champion 19-0 Patsy t-shirts. After 3 months of hunting when I finally found one, I bought two just in case something happened to the other one.

In all fairness I've watched Peyton do that to every defense in the NFL. Not to mention both of those offenses were led by two very very young QB's.

That's not fair, I think Miami wins 8 or 9 and finishes a few games back in the race for the division. Don't sell your team short:up:

You do realize that 2 of the 3 best QBs left standing this weekend were taken AFTER the first round, don't you? And that a full 50% of the final 8 QBs last weekend were non-first round picks - including 2 who weren't picked at all??

Oh and Jamarcas, Brady, Alex are happy to represent and also send their regards.

Don't be upset b/c w/ a rookie HC and rookie QB we made it further than any Dolphin team in the last 18 seasons.
