Since were gonna re-sign Rosenfels what are the chances now that we draft adrian mcpherson. I was really hoping they we would draft this guy.

    Any thoughts

I seriouly doubt we will draft him or any QB at this point. I think anything we do depends on what we get for Surtain. If we get extra picks maybe we draft a QB and cut a (if we sign him) Ferrotte or Sage then look at Drafting Green or a lower round QB. BUT at this point of the off season I see us keeping the #2 pick and drafting Brown, Benson, Williams or maybe LB Johnson.

    Hellion,
That's the question I was going to ask. If we sign Ferrotte(sp?) and resign Sage as reported, do we still draft a QB in the later rounds? I'm a little confused, I would have thought we sign Ferrotte, release/cut Sage and draft a QB in the late rounds to groom for the future. Would the Dolphins roster four QBs at the start of the season?

Looks like it is going to be Feeley, Frerotte, and Sage.....I doubt we would draft a QB at this point?....maybe wait till next year and draft Latt Leinart.

If we sign Frerotte than I don't think that there's any logic saying that we'll draft a QB.

Do you actually believe next year we will have the # 2 overall pick. The way I see this defense coming along with Carter and Holliday and maybe Kennedy, I don't see us loosing more than 5 games.

I for one don't think that Sage will have anything to do with it. We still might draft a QB.Is not as if we're counting on Sage to take us to the superbowl. If the right guy is there for Saban he'll take him and he'll cut or trade Sage.

who knows? ferrotte might not be signed, and sage might be the vet to push feeley, and another qb will be drafted as a developmental project. i guess we'll see.

Adrian McPhereson is very interesting. Over the last few weeks I've started paying more attention to him. I haven't seen him play since Florida St. But even then he still looked special. Had the guy not got into gambling, he might have been considered a top 5 pick and ranked ahead of both Rodgers and Smith. He's big, has a strong arm, accurate, can run, and has dominated in the arena football league which (IMO) says that he can handle pressure and knows how to make good decisions quickly. He's got all the ability to be another Culpepper. If teams feel he's matured and had good interviews then it's Risk vs. Reward. In his case, the reward looks bigger then the risk. I wouldn't mind getting him in the 3rd if he's still there.

Leinart will go #1 anyway

I could see us trading up to get him especially if feeley struggles.

we'll still draft a qb - probably later rounds - why does resigning sage and signing gus mean we can't bring 4 qb's to camp especially if it's a player we can groom for the future?

because for a cap stricken team, 4 QB's is a bit much

I would love it if we drafted this Guy! have you seen him playing in the AFL? 50+ passing TDs and 16 rushing TDs. What a great guy and what a great pickup he will be
