How well the Dolphins handle the Jay Fielder-Brian Griese situation could play a big role in how far the team goes this season. While Fiedler will go in as the starter, it will only take one or two interceptions in a preseason game to inspire fans to boo Fiedler again and call for Griese. One thing this team doesn't need is a quarterback controversy.

Screw the fans. Well those fair weather fans anyway. The media and the fans can try to create a quarterback controversy all they want but it has to begin in the locker room and with the coaches. Not stupid reporters and stupid fans. All the players it seems are 100% behind Jay as well as the coaches and unless he plays really really terrible that is the way I think it will stay for this year.

    Should have read:

•In: LB Junior Seau, QB Brian Griese, CB Terrell Buckley, S Sammy Knight, WR Derrius Thompson, DT Jeff Zgonina.

All these guys will make an impact on our team this year.

•Out: LB Derrick Rodgers, DT Jermaine Haley, QB Ray Lucas, WR Dedric Ward.
