Good point, maybe WR's coach Baggett?

While I want Mularky gone, mid season firings only usually work when the head coach has a similar skill set to the coordinator being released. Saban knows nothing about offense, which would make releasing Mularky a bad move at this point. If Dom Capers were to be released, it would make more sense.

Curious about something, though. What about Jason Garrett or Charlie Baggett as OC? Anyone have some informed thoughts on this?

no Jason Garrett would be next in line. really i dont think we should fire him at this point. if we fire him at the end of the year, OK. but at this point, theres really no point.

Just tired of watching this offense sputter. Frustration is setting in.

Im not totally against it. I think Garrett could do just as good a job as mularkey if that means anything.

It appears as if precedence is being set with the Fassel firing. I definitely wouldn't opposed to either Baggett or Garrett getting the nod. But, I doubt that anybody from the outside could do anything this year.

We definitly need a change up in order to spark a flame in the offense. Maybe its not all Malurky's fault but a change is in order.

If I had a big board that had pictures of all the plays this offense uses and threw darts at it blindfolded, I would bet some serious money that 9 times out of ten this offense would score more points than ANY gameplan created by the good ol' mularkster. Unless this team can start miraculously start putting up some serious points VERY SOON, I see Mularkey getting the axe and trying to find work as head coach of some very promising Division III High School football team. Best of luck to you Mike!!!

Fire him.

I don't think he would make a bad OC He is a pupil of Linnehan.

Fassel is a decent OC but he would be an uprgrade of what we have.
