The Dolphins signed Parkey last offseason to compete with former starter Andrew Franks. Parkey won the roster spot, and his performance over the course of the 2017 season makes it easy to see why. Over 16 games, the 26-year old special teamer knocked through 21 of 23 field goal attempts, good for a career high 91.3% conversion rate. On short range field goal attempts, Parkey was perfect. He made 6 of 6 field goals in the 20-29 yard range and 8 of 8 field goals in the 30-39 yard range.
Parkey’s extra point attempts were slightly less stellar, as the first-year Dolphins converted 26 of 29 kicks. However, given that he missed only one PAT in three previous seasons, it’s fair to say that the three gaffes were an anomaly.

He loves the Phins and hes waay better than any kicker weve had since Mare.....easily. Carpenter was decent though

Can he play DT?
Unfortunately there's many more positions other than DT that need to be addressed in order to compete. Solid kicker is definitely one of them especially with an offense like we've had. He's money

Retain. 4-4 on onsides kicks or something. Nailed almost all his FGs. Best kicker we’ve had in ages.

Huge retain for me.

I believe the time will come (Probably sooner then most think), where Miami is going to start putting things together on Offense and Defense, and when that happens, what will distinguish Miami from being a good team that can't get far in the playoffs, with being a team that everyone should be nervous to play, is having a consistent Kicker that has ice in his veins, and a punter that continually pins the other team, or punts hard enough to help his defense from having to hold the opponent for short distances.

Parkey has proven to be pretty darn consistent , has a big leg that if you absolutely need that 50+ yarder, it is still very possible, has shown to be a very solid to above average in kickoffs, -AND- Huge bonus, if you need an onsides kick, he's shown to be a very consistent weapon with perfectly placed On-side kicks.

Just fix the extra points please...

this is a no brainer imo you resign him. He was 91%. 21-23. hell he missed more ep's than regular kicks. i can live with that for now 26-29 lol
