It appears RGIII is shell shocked.

Robert Griffin III may still be the favorite to win the Browns’ quarterback competition, but he hasn’t earned the job yet. And in the Browns’ offseason program, he didn’t inspire a lot of confidence that he’s going to be a great player in coach Hue Jackson’s offense.

According to Pat McManamon of ESPN, in the six practices open to the media, Griffin had as many bad throws as good ones, passes that were tipped, intercepted or should have been intercepted

Not as shaky as former Browns QB Johnny Manziel when the DTs hit.

Why is Griffin supposed to be "shell shocked"? He's just another college phenom QB who didn't adapt to the pro style game, and his injuries simply provide excuses for his lack of professional growth, including his lack of leadership.

To be fair, if he never adapted to the pro style game, he wouldn't have had the rookie season he had. He may never had adjusted to the changes that teams made to his play (as well as his injuries), but I'd put part of that on him and part of that on Shanahan and the Redskins staff. In terms of what happens in Cleveland, I don't think it really matters how well he plays -- there is a reason that since the Browns restarted in 1999 that they've only had one quarterback top 3,400 yards in a season. Consider that using Ryan Tannehill's numbers with the Dolphins, he would have the top three passing yardage totals for the Browns since 1999 -- and it's really not even close. Since their restart, Brandon Weeden owns their second highest passing yardage season.
