I heard Griffith got cut from the browns. I wouldnt mind seeing him in our backfield for the right price. He's getting old but i bet he could help out Bua and Bell.
Hes 34, but he had 140 tackles last year. Hes always been a great, underrated safety. Given his age, we could probably sign him for the minimum if Saban looks for a veteran SS. Hes a devastating hitter (or at least he used to be).
Saban loves safeties that hit. His 3 year in Cleveland was his best. He was good but never really lived up to the contract he signed there. That's the downside of good players signing big contracts..they actually have to exceed what they previously did...which is hard for most.
I'd also like to see him here if we could get him at 1 mil or less for a 2-3 year deal but not anything more than that.
