senior bowl week and game thread

Pretty depressed I no longer have NFL Network. Last year, I didn't miss a practice. Already loved B. Graham going in, but I really fell in love with Odrick. Of course, at the time, I had no idea he might actually be an option for us.

yeah odrick was impressive..i liked his hand usage and the strength in his hands a lot...graham toyed with a collection of craptastic tackles

Jake Locker's offseason quest begins for the North squad. He IMO has the most to gain/lose in the offseason. The North squad really has a few guys I want to get a better look at.

Locker
Stanzi
Castanzo
Hunter
Murray
Kaepernick
Kendricks
Casey Matthews
McNeil
Titus Young
Herzlich

i think locker will look good in one on one drills where he doesn't have to read the field etc...his arm is gonna stand out...i just think in the 11 on 11 action we may see some different results

overall though i was more impressed last year with the collection of overall talent than i am this year...

i imagine the official height weight etc measurements should be coming in soon...

If we don't end up with one of Herzlich or Casey Matthews, I will be pretty disappointed.

I agree about Locker. I do, though, want to see how he performs in those team situations. He'll either confirm what many believe: he's not a good overall QB; or he'll make strides to dispel the notion. I think it'll be the former.

As far as overall talent, I don't know. I think it depends on the position. A. Black is better than any of the FS's from last year - or I at least expect him to be. The LT talent seems to be MUCH better. V. Miller is better than any of the OLB prospects from last year. I like Hunter more than any of the RB's from last year - unless someone is escaping my memory.

a black better display some really good hips and feet if he's gonna look better than nate allen did in coverage drills last year...kendall hunter struggles on tape in pass pro...jake locker was hot garbage on tape this year...von miller explosive as all get out...needs polish not every down ready yet...

i want to see what kind of hips deandre mcdaniel has...casey matthews while instinctual looks undersized for a 3-4 to me...ras i dowling in press somethin i wanna see also...kenrdrick burney i have my eye on as a nickle late

I wonder if Hankerson can actually move up from a solid performance this week, but I think the combine is where he will gain or lose more than anything. He needs to run well.
