I think that this lift of the lockout was merely to allow teams to make trades during the draft. Because with the lockout the teams were only able to trade picks, but not players for picks, picks for players, nor players for players. Am I missing something here? :rimshot:

You're right. All the GMs and coaches went behind the owners' backs and plead with Judge Nelson to end the lockout and deal the owners a huge legal blow just so they could acquire more draft picks.
