Chester Taylor getting cut in Chicago...would be a guy I would bring in as an upgrade over Larry Johnson and I think he plays special teams as well.

Ryan Torain of the Redskins...heard he was on the bubble and may be cut today.

Joey Haynos was cut by the Jags...don't want him back though.

Taylor interesting but I say there is something interesting about a guy who is trying to redeem his career. Larry made a nice run the other night.

taylors done...although he's better than lj still i guess...torain is the definition of a guy who runs upright and stays hurt but yeah he's better than lj

i'm hoping we can do better than that honestly

If Chester Taylor is cut, that's a player we need to pounce on immediately.

Mardy Gilyard was released . . . a returner and a better WR prospect than Livas. May be worth looking at as a #5/#6 WR.

as someone who watches the Redskins every week, Ryan Torain would immediately improve our running game (if he can stay healthy). The man is a beast at RB

Cornelius Ingram of Philly got cut. Has a history of knee injuries but is a seam threat at TE.

Wasn't he drafted 3 years ago? Does he even have a catch in the NFL? Don't see a seam threat from a guy that's never caught a ball in a game.

Fast TE that has the potential to be a seam threat is that better?

Mario Harvey got cut by the Steelers. He's short for our preferences but I'd take him over Spitler.

From PFT, these are the cuts that got the Steelers down to 58 players.

donald lee in philly looked like he was a guy in trouble given where he was on the depth chart in the games i saw...he's older and not much of a vertical pass threat but he could help us in line and he's better than what we have depth wise at te

Incidentally, Chris Ivory is headed to the PUP list which means Joique Bell is probably safe for now.

Myron Rolle was cut today, by the way, if we're looking to bring the circus to town. He'd be good for a drinking game where every time you hear the words "Rhodes Scholarship" you have to take a shot.

That close friend of Mark Sanchez's -- Scotty McKnight -- who Sanchez flew out and did his private workout for, was among the early cuts in New York. It'd be nice to live in a world where you could bring him down here just to **** with Dirty.

You talking about Scotty McKnight? I'm surprised they're keeping Turner over him.

He's been a solid tight end ever since we let him go. Not spectacular, but he's a solid receiving tight end. He had some decent games for Green Bay.

In terms of offensive linemen getting cut, the only notable name I've seen is Max Jean-Gilles, but he's the kind of guy who puts a pretty big strain on your buffet service and your sewage system, so I'm not sure the Dolphins will go for it.

Jacob Ford cut by the Titans might make a good situational pass rusher.

I don't trust JT to finish the season at his age, and the other backup OLB's are good against the run and Misi is good in coverage as well, but we could use another decent pass rusher.

In fact we could use a couple good pass rushers. Ike Francis and Trusnik are worthless at pass rushing.

Yes, him. And yeah, I'm surprised also. The guy must reeaaally suck. Turner is so bad he makes your quarterback worse just throwing to him.
