Source: Sparano to remain head coach

Still cracks me up that some people want him gone yet others want him to stay so the team doesn't win a game. It's Bizarro World I tell you, Bizarro!

Likely another move to improve Ross' reputation with potential new coaches that he is not a quick trigger kind of owner. Plus, who do you make head coach? Mike Nolan, coming off a 4th quarter collapse? Todd Bowles who saw his secondary allow Tebow to move the ball down the field on two late touchdown drives? Maybe Karl Dorrell?

Who exactly do you go with at this point?

I put in Brian Daboll, then someone else has to run the offense, and maybe we'll get a 3rd down conversion for a change.

Ross's personal jet is heading to King County Intl Airport in Seattle Washington...

Why are you guys so mad?

You realize Tony is the best one to lead us to a decade of excellence.

You people want a decade of Mediocrity and a few wins this year...No ****ing thanks.

We don't know the back story of what's going on with this team. Nolan may have already told Ross he didn't want any part of taking over for Tony. You're not going to bring in someone from the outside to finish the season out; nobody's that desperate to do it.

IMO, "remaining the coach for the near term" means Tony's staying till the bitter end. If Ross said he was staying till the end of the year today, a lot of people would freak out. So Ross drags things out, and let's circumstances dictate whether or not he has to intervene as the situation continues to unfold. This happens in politics all the time.

Ross is a real piece of ****

this is what you get, when you have am owner that this is not his main love & baby. For Joe Robbie, the Miami Dolphins were his life. He was a lawyer, yet worked to make the Dolphins his main business. Huizenga, was diversified as an owner in a lot of businesses, but the Dolphins were his love. With Steven Ross, it seems that the Dolphins should be an amusing toy, and when a toy stops working, you stop playing with it. He has stopped playing with the Dolphins and is on to his next toy somewhere across the country.

When you put in 1/3 of your wealth into it, you care. Don't think for one minute that Ross doesn't want to win, that is ridiculous.

how many games does tony have to lose at home, and how many last minute chokes against inferior teams must the fans endure? If there are any coaches, who, at this point, would not understand pulling the trigger on Sparano .. then that doesn't say much about them or their level of self-respect.. So who'd want em anyway?
