A source close to defensive tackle Tim Bowens and fullback Rob Konrad said it was ''doubtful'' either would play in Sunday night's game at Cincinnati.

Furthermore, Bowens could be out two or three weeks after missing Saturday's season opener against Tennessee.

    Not good news.

you heard it here first, and youll hear it again. Timbo is done. when did anyone see timbo in preseason or throughout traiing camp? why is he so fat? ill tell you why, he has a bad back prob and it is keeping him from playing. Its probably a lot more serious than we are led to believe. I also think Pat surtain has the degenerative knee prob. I think these are two reasons why they were keeping things very private in house.

The only thing that cuts against the team keeping a TB injury quiet is that they did JACK to replace him until a few days ago. Sadly, you may be right about PS -- that would explain Howard and Poole.

I said the same thing last week when his injury came up. I expect Timbo to retire at the end of this season.

Can someone explain the effects of a degenerative knee? I assume that it means he will never be 100% again?

Oh yeah, and it blows not to have either of these guys on Sunday. We all know what were missing with T-Bo, but without Konrad I think were missing a real asset to help Feeley settle down if things downfield are not working. I really liked the way Jay used him in that Jacksonville preseason game.

I dont think were missing out much with Konrad. I want to see Feeley pass and I want to see more 2 TE sets and passing plays. Against these cincy CB's we better put up the longball and not play the old boring power I formation and run it up the gut..... thats why im prayin for good weather.

TimBo is a huge loss.... konrad we can deal.

Robinson better step up this week, and with another week or practice and getting more adjusted to the Fins Defense, I think he will be better. With Konrad out, we can expect to see more two TE sets like last weekend.

Well, if he does retire....we're gonna need to replace him quick. Zgonina just isnt gonna cut it...we need a big, widebodied beast like Timbo to clog the middle of the line. Anybody in the draft you think would fit the role?

I think this draft is supposed to be much deeper at DT than the one last year was, but I have no names for anybody...
