Tannehill #8 in the NFL in Completion % vs Pressure Packages/Blitz

    EDITED:

Ryan Tannehill has a accuracy percentage of 84.6% of passes thrown under pressure (5 or more rushers). #1 in the NFL.
His completion percentage is actually 59.2%, 8th in the NFL.

    I still love it.

He probably stands behind center and says, "come on defense, blitz me, I dare you!"

Every stat in the league is kept, now finding some of them is the hard part, unless you have some kind of subscription to a service.

That's exactly what we've been seeing, watching him play. DIMES all over the field and cool under fire.

When's the last time that happened in Miami?

Only if you saw Marino play, lol.

Now, let's not make the same mistake that happened during the Marino years: Just bc a QB can make chicken salad from chicken crap doesn't mean the front office should continually give him chicken crap for weapons. It's a crying shame that this team starts the slowest -- I mean S-L-O-W -- 1 and 2 WRs. If Tanny had WRs running open downfield, you'd see game changing plays consistently. Bam. And opening up running lanes for Bush and Miller... BAM. Green Bay South, lol.

Actually, Miami HERE, lol -- bc the best of Green Bay is now the coaching staff of the Phins lol.

    Phins up!

    Philbin, Sherman and Coyle UP!

    Tanny up!

Things are lookin' up I think, lol.

I am curious to see if Bellichick employs pressure or uses an umbrella coverage against him.

#6 In Passing Touchdowns Allowed. My bad on the clarification. And St. Louis is #2, they have only allowed just two the entire year.

Doesn't hurt us. We like our rushing TD's. They count the same amount of points and their is less risk.

    Stop fighting ladies, stop.

The kid is making a great job throwing under pressure, completing passes in a shinning way.

I can't remember the last time I saw Dolphins playing this good!
    Well, let's say since 1999.

The numbers you are quoting are the generic numbers everyone can see on any website.

The numbers the OP is referring to are more specific numbers not published everywhere.

Keep in mind, they keep statistics on EVERYTHING, and these numbers are very encouraging. What they say is that against the blitz, pressure, 5 or more rushers (whatever way you want to put it) our rookie QB that was supposed to be a project delivers the ball more accurately than any other NFL QB.

Exactly what bad thing can you take away from him delivering the ball accurately ~85% of the time against pressure??

Exactly what else can we expect from him?

Aren't you the same guy that was looking to post any bad stuff you could on Philbin right after the win?

    Good job man...
