The amount of talent on the FA market this year is ridiculous

I don't know if it's a product of the CBA issues from a couple years ago or just a product of teams being in salary cap Hell, but there is a TON of great talent hitting the market this offseason.
Here's the full list per the NFLPA (credit Armando Salguero's blog for posting it)

Yup. And Dallas won't be able to afford Anthony Spencer either it's looking like. Cincinnati is looking a ta blood bath with all the FAs they have this year.

that looks great but teams will do some things to keep a lot of the big names...or those guys will be priced rediculously high given all the teams that do have significant cap space and the requirement to spend up to the salary floor with all 32 teams...

i said this before jeff ireland better come correct if he wants to land any big fish this year...when that clock strikes midnight or whatever to open free agency and at the combine he better be throwing around some real #'s to those agents...or he's not gonna get much of a crack at the big boys

as for baltimore ozzie newsome is smart...paul krugers the only pass rusher they have right now...he's a priority...terrell suggs is not close to what he was pre achilles yeah he may bounce back next year but he's also getting up there in years...only way i see kruger getting out is if his price is rediculously high...

although they are gonna have to pay joe flacco probably top 5 qb money given any high end qb who is hitting free agency prices himself into the top 5 pretty much it seems at that given time...either that or they'll tag him while they work out a long term deal...

and dennis pittas a priority as well...i don't think any of those 3 are going anywhere...

With all the Free agent choices and the draft picks, God couldn't love the Dolphins any more.

I wish we could land Lichtensteiger and Danny Amendola. What are the chances though...

what are the chances amendola stays healthy and gives you even 12 games in 2013...pretty low from what i've seen of that guy...talented for sure and a difference maker when he plays but you just can't count on him suiting up

does me no good if he's always in the training room...

Ciny has the most cap space though this year. Something around $55Million.

We need to wait until the season is over and teams start to negotiate with their own players. Then we will have a true idea of what FA will be available.

How about Leodis McKelvin or Jairus Byrd...you'd think they'd love to get out of Buffalo!

I wonder how all of the FA CBs contract demands will look. I'm interested in Cox the most, Keenan Lewis intrigues me. But I'm curious about them all

Cincinnati has more cap room than we do, and they're using most of it to lock up their players. Buffalo though, will concentrate on their stars like Byrd and may not be able to sign a gem like Andy Levitre, who would be a fantastic fit in Miami. I doubt the Patriots let Vollmer get away, but I think we could steal Levitre and it would be a wonderful upgrade to our OL.

Wasn't Pat McQuistan one of our offensive linemen at one part of his career? He came from Dallas, right?

OK I figured out that # following the player's name and position is years in the league, but does anybody know what the letters proceeding the name indicate? I'm sure it's obvious, but I cand figure it out.

OK I found the blog and it's the tteam. I should have been able to figure that out but I'm getting old.

Think again... Jeff Ireland is still our GM, we our going to resign all of our FA players except Jake Long and we are going to draft an LT in the 1st round.

That being said... I hope we sign Brent Grimes - CB and Aqib Talib - CB.

Having watched a ton of Falcons games the past five years, I've seen Grimes grow from "Burnt" Grimes into an elite player. I'd welcome him with open arms, pending his injury is healed 100%. Talib, in South Beach? No thanks. He can't stay out of trouble.

LOT's of names, with few difference makers, and that number will shrink when tags are applied. I'm guessing that there will be fewer than 10 players worth serious consideration, and at least half of that wanting much more than they are worth.

I'm just afraid we are going to get raped this year....I know we want a few, but we've got several solid players that I'd hate to lose.

If Bush gets a good offer we probably lose him and Starks is probably gone which is a loss. The other guys probably all stay
