Forgot to post the Center John Sullivan FA acquisition in the last segment. PFF's number 9 ranked center. 32 year old veteran, who, when healthy, has always been one of the league's best. A rock solid, reliable, smart, high character, leader who is all performance, and no hype.

Draft: Acquired three additional 2nd round picks in trades as well as two fifths, and we have the 4th for Ajayi and another 7th from the Bucs for last year's switch. Based on having the 6th pick.

1st Round....trade down to the middle of the 1st and draft Quenton Nelson OG. Add a mid range 2nd round pick.

If Drew Brees actually hits free agency, we sign him, of course. Otherwise, it's Shula and Mayfield.

Just some food for thought. This is all a dream. BUT!!! Things could be changed. They could be changed in a big way, if Ross or a new owner had a vision and a lot of courage.

Our brass and coaching staff are failing miserably. It IS.....their fault.

I suspect Baker Mayfield and Mark Andrews will both be first-rounders.

No more drafting OL with our first pick! Our scouting department is juvenile and amateurish at best. Take a skill position

No doubt. At this point the effort should be to accumulate skilled position players who can overcome normal-level deficiencies on the offensive line, rather than thinking the team needs one of the best offensive lines in the league as a prerequisite for any kind of adequate or effective offensive functioning.

About the time you start thinking you need four or five all-pro offensive linemen to function at an adequate level offensively, you draft the normal percentage of flops on the offensive line, and you have no skilled position players to overcome that.

I agree, all of these picks are preposterous. Cant even take the rest of the post seriously bro, sorry.

Barrett will be a QB in the NFL. Not sure how good he will become, but he’ll be a QB.

I’m going to refrain from even entertaining the question of how we got so many picks

This offense needs a lot. But one of the primary things that has been neglected for too long is TE. Take that kid from Penn. State, Mike Gesicki, 6-6, 250. He's a complete type who can block, catch, is a big target and has enough size/speed to be a seam threat, and enough physicality to become a good run blocker. Get us a chess piece that can do the Fasano/Thomas things but in one package without tipping our hats to the defense. Get us a guy who can be audibled into effective pass-pro. Get us a guy who can hot read a slow LB or short nickel and hit the seams. Get us an outlet for Tannehill/Cutler/Moore/anybodyrelatedtodanmarino to get consistent single-coverage.

It's not talked about much, but we desperately need AT LEAST one quality and complete TE to fix the deficiencies of this offense.

And it should be talked about much. Tight end is the one position on offense that by definition causes a mismatch or an opposing defensive personnel change when the tight end has unique attributes for that position. There is no other position on offense that requires that opposing defensive adjustment.

This is why such a tight end should really be on every team's wish list. And this team has suffered with ones with meager attributes for too long.

I know it's still early process, but do you think Miami could get Mike Gesicki in the 2nd round? If I knew the team could fill the offensive line needs in the mid-rounds, I'd like to see best defensive player in round 1 and then pretty much exclusively offense.

Agreed. We need some flexibility in pass pro and mismatches on the field.

That was on my list as well...

Like the comment I made in your first thread, these posts are made with a video game mindset, not a realistic mindset.

These threads, dating back to last year, have been ridiculous and far-fetched.
