Check out these numbers:

2000 - DW takes over Miami / 2004 - DW leaves Miami with mess

Have patience reading this. It all hooks up.

Miami's # of catches by top two leading receivers on team
2000 - 56
35
2001 - 55
55

2002 - 52
29
2003 - 64
49
2004 - 59
58
42

some production, huh? nothing to write home about but we had winning seasons up until now.
----------------------
Average # offensive Yds. per game
2000 - 278 record - 11-5
2001 - 301
2002 - 337
2003 - 288
2004 - 294 294 ?????? record - 2-11
---------------------------------------------
Average Rushing Yds. per game
2000 - 118
2001 - 104 (best O-Line during Wanny's stay even with injuries)
2002 - 156 * Rickey starts for us
2003 - 113 * with Rickey and decaying O-Line
2004 - 82
--------------------------------
Passing Yds. per game/ Pts. scored per game
2000 - 160 / 20.1
2001 - 197 / 21.5
2002 - 180 / 23.6 * DW beginning to abandon passing game
2003 - 174 / 19.4 * DW's philosophy of Run, Rickey,Run/ Rely on D to win
2004 - 130 / 16.4
--------------------------------

Blame all of it on Rickey if you want to but DW from the beginning never appropriately considered the Offensive Line that he inherited from Jimmy Johnson, that they would age, nor did he possess the talent to evaluate the needs of thias team's offense, not for just now but for a couple of years to come, which is why the Phins need to rid themselves of the likes of Rick Spielman. RS did have a good draft, in my opinion but there's a man out there, who would perfectly fit this need, even if he never did call a play.

One more stat:

Sacks Allowed
2000 - 27
2001 - 27
2002 - 25
2003 - 31 hmm...
2004 - 43 * with three games to go.

Childress, Saban, SpongeBob. But definitely O-Line.

One more note: Sage Rosenfels has a career QB rating of 99.3

he has a good rating because he has played in maybe one game that i remember..and that was against indy if im not mistaken

marty booker has a career rating of 125, start him

I don't think those numbers point to just a neglected line. Pretty much the whole offense has been neglected. There was no viable replacement for RW, no quality QB. The only thing that looked good coming into the season was the receiving corps, then Boston got hurt and we realized there was no depth behind him either.

Very interesting, these stats back up what we all know, Wanny was a terrible coach! As for RS, don't worry he shall be departing soon!

Sage career rating is so high because he has 10 pass attempts (just a guess!)
well, maybe seven or so. no point made. i think he shouldve been given a chance. if we dont re-sign him i hope he does come back with another team to bust open our holes for a game. wouldnt it be messed up if he turns out to be a great starter for some team?
