And away we go
That is one piece of **** article.
"Very well" is in my opinion an incorrect phrase in the title...if you want to say "may be"...I can agree.
$19M is a bargain when you consider we are paying a DT 26M next year.
I could "very well" win the lottery next year!
Funny and uninformed opinion.
It's so obvious when reporters/writers don't follow the team and just make random articles. Such trash. Although I'm sure this pleases a few people, if they even come here anymore
Reads like he has not followed anything between Gase and Tannehill in the last year.
If this actually came to pass, Tannehill would have to dish out his worst season yet. Even if the 2017 Tannehill is no better than in 2016 - which i doubt, given the circumstances - then a cap hit of "at least $19 million" for an above average (to anyone paying attention) QB is darn near a steal at this point.
ABS - Another B/S article possibly funded by the cheese factory with the intent of causing disruption. Ditto the Parker doesn't fit the conservative Gase offensive system.
I could "very well" choose to ignore this article completely.
Yep. No click for that.
Ridiculous clickbait. No thanks.
I'm not going to open the article. Would anyone care to include any specific **** that was said to back up the article's title?
Sub .500 record vs AFCE and his salary. That's it.
2-2 with Gase. Anything that happened with Philbin/Campbell as coach isn't relevant IMO.
Why 2-2, didn't Miami go 4-2 against the AFC East last year, with Tannehill missing 3?
People will stop talking about Tannehill's deal if Carr get's the $25 million per year people keep tossing around.
Bad articles everywhere
I find anything in that article extremely hard to believe
Translation: Hey Ryan actually could be a darn good QB, and good enough to get Miami into the SB.
So instead of continuing to say he's not, and make idiots of ourselves, we are not going to write and hope Ryan leaves Miami and never helps them reach the SB...even though Ryan has said he love being in Miami, Gase has admitted a big reason he went to Miami was Ryan, and the Dolphins Organization has proven they are committed to Ryan VERY long term...which I guess still makes us look like idiots writing this.
I apparently can't add. He played and beat the Jets/Bills at home while losing in NE. Matt Moore played and won at the Jets and Bills (lost to NE in Week 17).
Yay for the off season...
I have been one of RTs harshest critics on here in years past. Didn't believe in him until Gase arrived. He's not an elite QB like the top guys, but can do enough with Gase.
The NFL is a coach's league.
Utter bullshit. No click from me
Jeeze..Ryan is the Rodney Dangerfield of QB's.....no respect..
If Ryan were to leave Miami, it would only be because he wanted to, or career ending injury. I don't see him wanting to leave, and I pray he stays healthy. Tanny is the best QB we've had suit up in Miami since Marino, and that includes Pennington. Is he elite....no, but he is a damn good QB and I hope he goes out and earns himself some much deserved respect this year!
I just looked at the title of the article.
It's possible this will be his last season in Miami, but to say that it very well could be, implying that it's fairly likely?
Don't think so. I think he'd have to play poorly enough for the team to have a top five pick for that to happen.
That seems rather unlikely to me.
Tripe. Unless he gets maimed/ded before next year.
I do not see that happening.thill17 is not great but he is good for now. maybe 3 to 4 yr down road.
This idjit gives the Infinite Monkey Theorem a run for its money!
I understand that writers are entitled to their opinions, and I'll grant that speculation can be fun. But it's paragraphs like the following that drive me nuts:
It's one thing to share one's own opinion, but if the writer is going to speculate about someone else's opinion, the writer has an obligation to reach out to that person for an opportunity to respond and/or comment. In this case, the writer should have tried to get a quote from Gase, or at least found a quote from him published elsewhere to back up the speculation.
The fact that the hacky writer isn't even aware that Tannehill was a major reason Gase, who had other options, accepted the job (as he himself confirmed several times last season), negates even any shaky contentions he asserts. That whole article literally becomes the "fruit of a poisoned tree" !!!
Big year for Tannehill. I fully expect him to take the next step
wait, when did you start thinking he is good?
This isn't an outrageous claim. If Tannehill starts the season slow, which he's prone to doing, or finishes the season as part of the problem instead of the solution, then I think Gase works on management to put him in position to draft his own guy in 2018 while living with Matt Moore to bridge the gap. Gase may be a good coach in the making, but he's a QB/offense guy and he knows time is short in the NFL if you aren't getting results. I just don't think he "settles" for more Ryan Tannehill if he isn't getting the results he wants.
Why are you so cruel to the admins and mods?
Why do you hate us so much?
I think we should all scour the internet for smut articles about the dolphins and post them in the ladies lounge. Hint "we live together" might be a good starting point. And honestly two naked girls have more football knowledge than the writer of this ****ty article
I am not GM...Thill17 is avg qb to me. he rank 18-22 but we need keep him for now. do not want dolphins to be like jets qb plan...
