Tony McDaniel seemed REAL UNHAPPY today on the Sid Rosenberg show today

I doubt Sid said to himself on draft day, "But wait, don't the Dolphins have Tony McDaniel? Who needs this other guy?" Tony played only part-time snaps.

I thought the guy was a small breath of fresh air to be honest.. Very blunt with his answers, no BS'ng... You got to at least love the part where he is guaranteeing a victory against the Jets.... "100% fact, put your money on it" lol I LIKE!!

Disturbing words from McDaniel. He'll get his wish.

I know in this game against the Jets, I'd sure like to see Marques Douglas in there guarding against the Jets' well practiced screen game, especially with Tomlinson getting the work. The Jets have hurt the Dolphins with the screen before, and with their at times aggressive OLBs, they could be hurt again with it. What Marques Douglas does so well is in passing situations he keeps an eye on the back and doesn't let him get to his outside, especially if it's looking like a screen. He's something of a specialist this way.

Here is the radio link for those interested. LOL I was in rush hour so I had alot going on so maybe I made it seem bigger than it was, but either way he is either being VERY BLUNT with Sid or he is unhappy. I only listened to the first part in the car, going to listen to the second part now.

Yes. In addition, he was asked about offense; whether he is mad at Henne and the offense for not scoring and putting pressure on D.

McD said No. We on D are supposed to win the game. Defense wins games. I thought that was a great attitude.

Are you kidding me. McDaniel had a bad game vs. Minnesota there were 2 plays were I seen he made some lame attempts at tackling Adrian Peterson.

Dude I am listening to the interview and you almost get the feeling Sid wants to get McDaniel in trouble.

Yea it definitely seems that way, and Tony took the bait a few times. I guess its more Sid than anything but Tony still doesn't seem that ecstatic about the situation he is in. Weird to see a player so up front, but I guess its commendable. I don't think he will be doing to many more interviews though, espescially with Sid.

I have been adamant to the point of being obnoxious of my dislike for McDaniel as a player. The gifts he brings to the table -- huge body (leading to batted down passes) and pursuit -- do not compensate for his lack of pass rush moves, his tendency to play too high, his tendency to stop his feet once he gets locked on in pass rush and his tendency to get blown off the ****ing ball in the run game.

If this guy thinks he's anything approaching a dominant player he's even more delusional than I thought. I remember when he got traded he made some watered down comments to this same affect, about 'how could the Jaguars in their right mind trade away such a great, young player with my size... I'll make them pay, etc, etc'. It made me cringe at the time, pissed me off when I broke down his play closely, and now it just makes me laugh.

No wonder Nolan and Sparano haven't clicked with him. The guy is on Mars with his opinion of himself. It would be like trying to strike up a conversation with a toothless bum who wonders why everyone doesn't think he should be on the cover of GQ.

I swear Sid is an Ahole and he is purposely doing this.

i found 940 am and like that station better sam madison was on today or 790 screw 560 the bigit

Just went back against my morals and listened to the interview. Same ole Same ole. Sid was doing everything possible to put him on the spot. He was leading him on. Mcdaniels was foolish enough to play along.

Been saying this for months, STOP LISTENING TO 560 WQAM.

Joe Rose Sucks
BIG O has become the most negative Bish on the radio.
Sid Rosenberg is POS NY who hates Miami

And dont forget this is the station that sent the BIGO crew to cover the 1st week of the NY JETS Training Camp instead of the Dolphins Camp. That right there alone put the icing on the cake for me.
Chubbs

Highlight of the interview was McDaniel saying he was to lay out Mark Sanchez and that Sanchez has a huge target on his back. Make it so Tony make it so. Guy sounds proud to be a Dolphin.

Sid and the whole 560 crew suck. I listened to Sid yesterday when they were airing the marlins game on 790, needless to say it was quite drive home. I hate his voice, his smugness, his annoying voice, and his even more annoying jokes. How is he still on the air with lebatard in the same slot
