I have no idea why FSU isn't #1 with at least 800 1st place votes. #7 is an absolute disgrace.

And the conference is still underrated. A few of the teams ranked 11 and lower from other conferences arent as good as some of the unranked teams in the SEC.

Still underrated by the hard headed national media and sportswriters that suffer from SEC fatigue.... However, the coaches know.

And to this point, it's reflected by 11 of the 14 teams in the SEC receiving votes.

I think there is a contractual obligation to rank FSU in the top 10 even though they suck every year.

Exactly. It's the FSU way. Overrated in preseason. Their delusional fans puffing their chests. Then losses to Wake Forest and Virginia and they're never heard from again.
