Are the phony Americans here at FinHeaven watching the match from Nazi death camps as they root for the Douchelanders?
 
FIFA just announced that the game will go on as scheduled. The field is very wet and fast, which most think favors Germany. MANY fans cannot get to the match due to the street flooding, and are staying in their hotels to watch instead of being stuck in traffic. More for USA to overcome.
 
Team Ghana having some issues. KP Boateng suspended from the team, Muntari as well (he was already out of the Portugal game). This is probably good news for USA as Ghana was the biggest threat.
 
Great that fans somehow managed to get to the game. Home field to USA. And Here we go.
 
Many heart stopping moments but, looking pretty good so far with neither team playing for a tie. Thank God for Howard.
 
Portugal ahead 1-0 is also a VG thing.
 
Germans clearly are the better team but the US is holding their own. Great first half . . . even better with Portugal up 1-0
 
The longer the game goes the more likely the krauts will just settle for the tie and not push it as hard as they did earlier

Doesn't help that Brad Davis just can't defend. I like Brad, and he deserved his chance with the nats, but Germany was not the matchup for him (though he was better switching sides)

Bring Bedoya or Mix in the 2nd half. Bedoya will defend and Mix adds creativity.
 
One other thing. The announcers have been great.
