heres the link to the poll: http://www.thephinsider.com/2010/7/17/1573906/saturday-survey-which-30-year-old

there are only 6 Dolphins who are 30 years old or older (that's awesome, by the way). The poll has over 700 votes so far and Ricky is leading the way, followed by Yeremiah Bell.

I personally would say its Bell cus we have nobody behind him really to back him up.

    Cool idea for a poll.

    Bell. pro bowler

Ricky. nothing needs to be said

Will Allen - and he pushes our corners to be better.

I would say Bell because there's no one to back him up. With Ricky we least have Ronnie, but with Bell we have no one.

    1. Ricky Williams
    2. Bell

I put Bell over Pennington because Bell will see time on the field on a regular basis. If Henne goes down and Pennington becomes our starter he instantly gets moved to #1 and Ricky to #2

henne is the franchise QB we've been waiting for, and although there are a ton of other good young QB's for him to compete with, he has the advantage of pennington schooling him. like the link said. that is invaluable, besides the fact that pennington is a season saver if henne gets hurt.

Pennington, but I have to at least present the argument for Grove. He is a veteran road grater on our talented, but largely inexperianced offensive line. Him alone(well, maybe with Incognito now) really brings the nasty attitude to our line. He is all motor, and plays a violent brand of football until the whistle blows twice on every play. I remember the Saints game last year, I watched him put a defensive lineman on his back, then drive another damn near out past the sideline. If seeing the old man do that doesnt fire up the rest of the line, nothing will. Injury prone, absolutely, but when you watch the guy play its not hard to understand why. He doesnt get my vote, hell, I would put him at number 3 on my list, but that is saying alot for the veteran leadership on the Fins.

People who are saying Ricky are crazy! There talent around Ricky but YB is there all by himself and has been a leader on this defense for years now. If ricky went down we would be ok, if YB went down, our season would be nearly over

Agree with the sentiment that Bell's the most valuable by a comfortable margin.

Bell all the way!!! He makes plays when we need them. He is a gamer.

However, if Brown goes down again...this immediately switches to Williams. All the others are replaceable.

Isn't it awesome that the few old guys we have are all solid contributors?

And don't underestimate Denney... He has been a starter for us since I have been a diehard fan.

Bell he owns the back field. Did u guys remember the games last year how many times did Bell save Tds racing down on Williams in the Carolina game, then racing down on Welker, then stopping Johnson vs the Titans; Bell is the leader of our secondary without him back there its over.

Maybe not over if our corners can step it up and one of our SS turned FS-projects can do work.

Pennington and Ricky. I'd say a tie. Chad is valuable as a backup/mentor. Ricky is just maybe one of the most important players of any age group. He is going to get the ball the most this year I think out of all of our running backs. If he's producing, he might be the most important guy on the roster.

I was at the game in Buffalo last year, and as long as they keep him from passing, Ricky is the most important old *******. If he were Ronnie's age, he would be the starter...

Bell. Look at the depth at safety.
