Why the hell fire him? Ross is doing the smart thing for SFL campaign
Seriously, the team is playing hard for him. Why can him?
Let him go down with the ship.
Ross is smart. He wants that number 1 pick. He's listening to the fans.
maybe because we are 0-7 lol
And replace him with what? His incompetent assistant coaches?
It won't make things better.
Might be Ross' best decision yet.
hey if stephen ross likes losing, all power to him and keeping sparano.
At this point, what could Sparano do to be fired?
I understand this is the smart move for the future of this franchise. Ross shows that he will give coaches a chance and it puts us in better position for the future.
But my god, Sparano must have some incriminating pictures of Ross sacrificing a goat or something.
At this point, all I care about is that he is not the head coach at the start of next season!
not suprised sparano is the best weapon for the sfl campaign
and it doesnt look obvious when the dolphins lose unlike colts
We should just use all 3 time outs on the first 3 plays of the game just for fun.
yeah no point in firing him yet. Part of me wants it to happen cause we know he's getting fired. But it really does no good. Most coaches who get fired during the season have some type of issue. Guys like Linehan, McDaniels, and Kiffen were all fired because they had issues with both players and owners.
Of course, Ross wants Luck, then he can name any coach he wants.
we have played 7 games we have lost 7 games , i couldnt do any worse as coach so why not.
Or doing something with a goat............
If he has let him stay for this long, then Sparano is here for the remainder of the season.
bet you get a different answer after a loss in Week 14......
Sparano has lost 10 games in a row dating back to last year. Pathetic.
Excellent. Keep him in place the rest of the season.
Is the last win vs the Jets ? Wow that was in Nov of last year......terrible.
If Ross is seriously seeking a coach for next year than he SHOULD fire him, a lot of coaches wont talk until there is a vacancy.
Sparano 11-5 year one, 14-25 since yea buddy u suck lol.
Can we stop with this each week please? Let Tony stay. To be honest I feel bad for the guy. Yes he's not a good coach but a good man. Let him finish the season with some dignity. If Ross decides to fire him before the season ends then we will find out but stop asking every week please!
/me throws a fist pump for Ross
How the hell are you so quick with these stories...
Keep Tony is a great move. No point to fire him.
Now we can all start the "Keep Sparano one more year so we can then hire Cowher" threads.
smart. especially if he wants any chance at getting Cowher outta that chair.
so instead of letting him go 0-7 he will have more dignity going 0-16 lol. he should have been fired but Ross is too worried about perception since he screwed up the harbaugh pursuit he playing the faitful owner to his coach
Tony is his uncle.
At this point i'm worried, my fear is that Ross wont fire these clowns at all.
Suck 4 Luck Ross.
Ross is just hoping Sparano will resign, which I hope Sparano never does because after Ross pulled a stupid and classless move by trying to hire another coach without firing the one he had, he should be forced to pay for the extension he had to sign his current coach to just to save face.
Well he can enjoy the season ticket base going to 20,000.
I could only hope to be fired with a two year contract and the millions owed to me. Isn't that almost everyone's dream, have millions in the bank and not have to work? He'll be living "the dream". Don't feel too bad for him
Or 600 lmao
Yes that was the last game the Dolphins won. Henne completed 5 passes for 30 yards and we won 10-6. Sad.
Ross is probably hoping that Sparano quits so he won't have to pay the rest of the contract.
I got paid what was, to me, a lot of money, to work in a situation where my superiors made it impossible for me to succeed. The money was nice when it was all said and done, but that didn't make each day on the job not feel like the worst day of my life being played over and over.
As bad as Sparano has been, there's every reason to think that this team's upper management failed to fix apparent problems in last year's team out of lack of caring for this year, based on the lock-out making things difficult.
Ross can't be that stupid. Would you quit? I know I wouldn't
I'm sure it is hard for him, but put me in a "no win" situation and pay me millions, I'll laugh all the way to the bank while I'm cashing a fool's check. I don't think it was lack of caring from the front office, I think it's more like incompetence.
Suck 4 Luck! Mr. Ross, you're doing it right!
Where was the QB competition that was promised us, and likely the coach?
