I will stick with one day at a time...here is my FINAL thinking.

* The Albert deal goes down sometime before 8 pm...something I have said for weeks.
* I will also stick to the idea that the team needs a "sexy" pick. Between the new uniforms, fan fest and...most of all...the possible coming referendum...Miami cannot pick a "big". Therefore, Cooper, Warmack, Richardson, Williams, Lotulelei etc. are not going to be the pick.
* The pick could be "neutral"...meaning a CB like Hayden or Trufant...Rhodes is not a fit and will not be the guy. Kenny Vaccaro I think is in the mix would fill the bill. Perhaps a pass rusher, but I do not see value there.
* THEREFORE, with all that said, I think the pick will be done to Eifert, Vaccaro and Austin. Austin will be off the board by then. Vaccaro will most def. be there. However, my prediction is Tyler Eifert.
* Eifert has appeal. People can identify him based on his college. He helps Tannehill. He adds to the offense. I heard talk on ESPN that Eifert could come off prior to the Fins pick. However, Eifert is my prediction.

Oh yeah, Nick Buoniconti is now a happy man with this pick.

Nice :-)

1. Tyler Eifert TE, ND
2a. Terron Armstead OT, Ark PB (this is the key to the draft and my biggest worry. He could EASILY be gone at 42)
2b. Alex Okafor DE, TX
3a. Robert Alford CB, SE Lou OR Jordan Poyer CB Org St (pretty sure one of these two will be here and both are good fits for our zone)
3b. Ryan Swopes WR, Tx A&M
4. Zaviar Gooden OLB Missouri
5a. David Quessenberry OT San Jose st
5b. Tony Jefferson S Oklahoma
7a Jawan Jamison RB Rutgers
7b. Lawrence Okoye DT
7c. Reggie Dunn KR, Utah

Two nice OT picks here.

My draft prediction: No matter what happens, half of us will be pissed, the other half ecstatic.

After waiting for over an hour to see our newest draft pick, the Commissioner will announce we have traded the pick with less than 12 seconds left on the clock...but we will ultimately end up with the same player we would've taken at 12 (Tyler Eifert).

that would be very nice

That is the only way I'd be happy with Eifert. Anything after 15 would be good and having the extra 2nd or 3rd round reduces our overall bust risk for this draft.
