What's the latest on Dwight Freeney?

I read somewhere online yesterday that the dolphins are among the broncos and lions in freeneys top 3, and I think NFL.com said he wants more $ than Osi. Do you think we have a chance to sign him?

I didn't know we were in on him. Last I read which was about a week ago he wants 6 mil per year, and is content to wait even it means he misses training camp.

could we afford a 2 year 10 million dollar deal? It would make him higher paid than Osi

I wouldn't be surprised if he just threw that 6 mil number out there so he could miss a significant portion of training camp.... Then he'd "come to his senses" a couple weeks before the season and sign with the broncos for 4.5 or so

don't know if that would be a good move. I'd rather have another young pass rusher as Wake is our oldest starter
