Alex Boone was shockingly cut by the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday.

Boone plays guard, more specifically left guard, and the Miami Dolphins could use another guard, specifically someone who can play left guard.


Boone told the Palm Beach Post on Saturday evening he would be very interested in playing for Miami coach Adam Gase

I stated in the other thread that we already have a younger Boone in Asiata. Boone is a power lineman that has struggled in the ZBS. At least with Asiata there is a possibility to improve and overhaul his technique. That opportunity has passed Boone by.

I just read that Oakland placed him on IR. Can't find what his injury is or of it's significant.

FYI...Any player with 4 years or more in the league does not have to go through waivers. Those guys can sign with any team as of 4:00 today. Many teams will probably wait until after week 1, but there will be some signings over the next few days of these vets.
