I watched many of Bruce Gradkowski's games last year and was impressed by his poise, accuracy, and arm strength. Gradkowski's numbers lacked because TB had no running game and their receiving core blew.

It also took him a record 200 pass attempts to throw his second career INT. He also broke many of Dan Marino's high school records since he played in the same division Marino played in in high school.

If we got him he could start after this season. We would also be able to save our day one picks for OL/WR/DB help.

no thanks....i want no part in trding away draft pciks for unproven QB's...and pls dont come back and say he's proven

Gradkowski....i think hes a lot like Alex Smith....Alex has proven NOTHING yet...but give him some time and i think he'll be perhaps a mediocre QB. a good backup.

Intelligence exuberates from this post.

How is he unproven? He was a rookie QB drafted in the sixth round and he still had close to as good a year as Leinart(better than Leinart in TD to INT ratio). He is raw but with work from Cameron he can be great. He has the arm to make all of the throws along with a quick release and the athleticism to avoid the rush as well as throw on the run.

WTF? Whatever you are on must be good so can I get some? lol

Okay, so I read the profile. Now I will admit that I didn't pay too much attention to the guy last year. But you stated in your original post that one of the things that had impressed you about him was his accuracy. I'm not seeing it. He only completed 54% of his passes. He went 9/9 with his TD/INT ratio, and ended up with a QB rating of 65.9. That's not so good IMO.

He didn't exactly play with the best team... It's not like Gradkowski had Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, and Edgerrin James or anything...

Gradowski sucks. Dont waste your time typing.

If he was good enough, Tampa wouldn't be so desperate as to trading for retired Jake Plummer.

I'll take him here in Chicago. They can have Kyle Orton and I'll take Gradkowski and a late rounder, thank you.

I actually wouldn't mind that, the guy showed some flashes last year.

And, TB only stole every QB on the market to force Oakland's hand to try and make sure they don't draft Calvin Johnson. If there were no QB's on the board, Bruce Allen was thinking that the Raiders would have to look long and hard at a QB in the draft since there was no one available on the market. This takes the power out of Oakland's hands really because now TB can offer up a pick and one of those QBs for Oakland's pick if they really are sold on CJ. How good a trade would that be if Oakland got the 4th a 2nd and a starting QB? Makes sense.

This guy summed it up best:

He is a future stud if he finds the right team.
